No, he didn't find out about the man with all the noses. I tried to lead him through:
* Family were all around for NEW YEARS DAY lunch...
*So what is the DATE of New Years DAY.
*He didn't know, so I shoed him the date on that day's newspaper, which he correctl read as Ist January, 2011...
*"So, how many days are there in the year?". He stioll couldn't answer

A belated Happy New Year to all.
I've started it as I finished, with raging toothache. 
Back to the dentist on the 10th for an extraction, may be 2. 
New broadband equipment should be delivered same day though whether I'll feel like setting it up or not is another matter.

I'll have to search for a new dentist-. Mine went away on a holiday and never came back.
I need an appointment, one crown is loose.

Speaking of dentists, I like mine and don't want to change, but I can't stand the hygenist he has now. So my choices are to switch dentists or refuse to get my teeth cleaned.

Cheers, Hypatia. I guess I might put up with the hygienist if I trusted the dentist. Unfortunately, I don't have this option.
Dmitri, nobody knows what happened. Rumours have it that she went on a holiday to Australia and never returned. As she didn't live locally, I guess we'll never find out.
