Don't blame me. I showed VC, and asked if it was too cruel to put it online.
Her reply - "Nah, purridon! It's me mum!"

Stop it! I'm in the quiet coach and it's very hard to suppress my laughter. Have just passed Preston. I may go and explore the goodies in the buffet car shortly.

We are trying to follow this on the map over here. Elektra cannot believe this detour...
I hope you find food.

I can see ailsa craig! And I'm now singing that to the tune of the ace of spades. It always let's me know that I'm almost home as on a clear day it's visible from NI.

What an adventure. We're following this on google map.
We want to know: why do you go home through Scotland, rather than by way of Dublin?

Don't ask, dmitri.
This is fun. We are getting more and more able to keep people up to date on where we are. (I'm in Stansted at the mo, and it looks like no flights are cancelled because of the volcano now - except Belfast, Knock, Midlands and, apparently, the Orkneys.
I wonder who'll read this in 20 years' time and wonder why we are doing it?
The sun is shining in Essex here. A pattern seems to be emerging - when the volcano ash covers the stratosphere or whatever it is, the skies clear.

This means people in NI and the Orkneys are getting in touch with their roots and rediscovering seasickness.

I'm only glad the ash doesn't have the same lethal effects the volcano had Webbie gave us the link to.
Does it mean you'll get home OK, TC?
