The one titled "To those who know lil" - it seems I rather worried a few people with it, they thought it was bad news! I got told off!

Pierce, it's not my PC. I tried form my son's PC (powerful machine) the other day, and today, I asked my husband to load the h2g2 FP. He tried on two different PCs, didn't get anywhere, then called customer service of our ISP. They checked and admitted there was something wrong at their end and said that they'll look into it and call us once they have news.
I'm currently in Opera (with turbo enabled), which has the proxy server in Norway, and it works fine.

with the server problems. I don't have any issues once I get in, but since those recent changes it takes FOREVER to log in.

Server problems have been resolved after we called our ISP.
I phoned the job office on Monday, and they asked me for some data. The woman was very friendly (not something you'd expect when calling a German office) and told me somebody else would call me today with more questions.
Got the call today. Had to confirm all the data I had told the other woman on Monday, then give some more data. Now they'll send me forms to fill in and send back by next Wednesday (mind, they haven't sent those sheets to me yet, so I won't have much time to go through them).
Then yet another lady is going to call me to make an appointment. It will probably take a few weeks until the appointment, as they are very busy.
Key: Complain about this post
