Moonhogg, I would be more than happy to help you out if it meant your missus satyed in bed and got the rest she needs to heal. I'm bad about staying put when I'm not well, so I can sympathise. I can just picture her sneaking out of bed to put something away when your back is turned.

That's her, PC! She *hates* sitting around if there's something needs tidying. I had to threaten violence to get her to sit down when I was cleaning the kitchen the other day.
Well, not violence. I threatened to stick my tongue in her ear. She *HATES* that.

Perhaps you're just like me, B'El. I'm not messy. I just disdain having things at right-angles. 
Hopefully you can enjoy the trip now, anyway. Anywhere with plenty of herring and onions can't be too bad.

That's true. Funny, though, my mum said my dad's bought a duck to eat on my birthday. I'm so relieved, it used to be the tongue of an ox in Madeira sauce for my birthday.

I fully agree with you about the tongue, Gnomon. As I've only ever had Madeira sauce in connection with that, it's been spolit for me, though, so I can't

You're not the only one Bel. I still haven't done any cards and my grand plan to do my xmas shopping on line will go kaput if I don't order everything in time for it to arrive. Plus I have tidying and cleaning to do to make this place habitable for guests. So what have I done today? Drink
