Well, this is even harder to understand than browsers.
Don't forget, I've only ever once seen a digi box.

There's no 'browser' visible to me on your page, Jim. I guess it's only other digibox users who can see it.

to use a digi k/board is more buttons than you want to see lol
-
anyone using digi without a board will find the onscreen way a nightmare, you have to do anything, letter by letter lol jim

a while back, tw as i said tryed the internet on tv, and dropped the firewall for weeks to try it, and we on the digi realised we could have a field day.
-
we had nothing like downloading, widomeadia, we couldnt send a photo as they had a double attach to stop them opening. but it was fun while it lasted lol jimxx

people pull the digi emails down, but we have hidden things that even tw didnt know we can do.
-
the jim in golden dragons, on an email as my nametag, is a pic about 15kb in size, at one time the size was upto 28kb.
-
i can alter the text size, change the background color, and so, but only from digi to digi.
-
i have a page link that allows me to use the b numbers on the h2g2, so i can make them appear on the page/email.
-
as the pics section is now unable to see, this is how i can find a pic for my page, and see if i want it. jimxx

The thing to remember is that regardless what browser or OS is available, they all have things that are good and they all do the basic things reasonably well. Its down to how it's used, what it's used for, and what the user wants from a system that matters. The basic fact is, like it or not, no-one has challenged MS dominance simply because they try too hard to 'copy' rather than innovate. Those individuals who think it's clever to question the intelligence of a wide variety of users who have sound knowledge and experience only go to show they have little or no intelligence or imagination themselves hence they'll always be followers, not leaders.
I've never used the digi box system so can't comment on it's pro's and cons. Again, unlike some individuals, I don't profess to know it all but at least I'm willing to listen and learn. I don't belittle others for their lack of knowledge. Seems some folk would rather preach, (with a holier than thou attitude too it seems) than teach.

Hi Jim, I have wireless keyboard and mouse on the one pc which is handy as the desk is somewhat cluttered with various bits and pieces of equipment.
I'm off now myself, need to get to the shops, it's actually warm and sunny here, might even stretch me legs and walk.
See you all later.

I agree, it's what you need your browser for which will influence your choice. For me, for editing on here, it has to be IE, there is no way around it (yet).
For chatting and searching things, Chrome seems to do quite well, and the spell check is nice. I like it that I can choose the language for the spell check, so if I was to post in a German forum, I could just change it to German - very handy.
No add-ons required, like in Firefox (and IE7 doesn't seem to have this option at all).
So I guess I'll just switch browsers depending on what I want to use them for.
