Okay, so I went back to the original ouevre (sp?) that Bel penned and I've stuck to the rhyme scheme as best as I could. Here y'go:

There's much upset across the 'net

And all the sound of cries and wailing
Texting, phoning, posting, mailing

Thrumming of hi-tech devices
Sending news of woe and crisis

Can just about replace the sound
That's missing while Lil's not around
