THE ROOF

Hello, weary traveller/honored guest/1

..and welcome to the roof. No, I am not THE fiddler2, although I once claimed to be A fiddler. Other names have come and gone, and will no doubt return, but for now, let me be... rooftiler.

Will you help me tile my roof? There is no hidden meaning in such a question, except as I can use it as a semi-real metaphor for life, the universe and everything in my head.

Who am I... I've wondered this for some time. Elsewhere, and elsewhen, I have been Nodrog, Dave the Rave (definitely a sarky one there), Splot...

'rooftiler' is a nickname from school I have resurrected for use here and here alone (until I decide to use it elsewhere) because Nodrog (my usual online alter ego) was already taken, I think.
