No did not know of meet. But I fly out to Cyprus on the 5th July.
Have just returned from Cotswold, where we have been checking out hotel for ladies night.Spoke to the owner and the operations manager. Think we might have got it for a good price.
It is very hot. 31c at least Colleen is unwell, heat stroke I think. The trouble is the car is air condition, so when you get out the heat hits you.
Sorry about July But reallt happy about Cyprus

Awwww, what a pity that you'll not be there
Still, I hope you'll have a great time in Cyprus.
Hope Coll's better today, give her my regards, will you ?
It's hot and humid here, hope we'll get a thunderstorm later.
And I know the effect of leaving an air conditioned environment

It has been raining here. Coll a lot better. Having her central heating re-newed tomorrow and Friday. Better to have it done now while she doesn't need it.
Hope the football crowds are no bother. Think it's rotten the way they sometimes act.

I'm glad that Coll is better. The fans are no big problem, some risked their lives by jumping into the river Main from the bridges ( about 8.00m height) - but in some places, the Main is only 0.80m deep
Mostly friendly, just noisy - so where the Italians after they won, and I guess the Germans will be very noisy later tonight, when they're enough

Hi Tony, hope you're well and that Coll's better . The weather is fine, the atmosphere is fantastic, and I've watched nearly every match so far

Very sorry but I lost connection to e amil and web site. They couldn't work out what had gone wrong and I've had a lot of problems , but up and running now.
Not really watched football. I am not a football fan. Obviously patriotic, and would support my country, not intersted in football, that's all.
Doing some washing ready for Cyprus. Some of it didn't need it, but was creased from being in drawers and it's nice to wear freshly washed items anyway. Coll looking forward to trip. Having friends this weekend so hoping weather fine.
Been not too nice lately, but hoping for better weather at weekend. They say it will be 27/80 approx on Friday.
Hope you enjoy your trip to England and of course the meet. Wish I could be there.
Problem with eyes at moment,. think it's the new glasses. I have bought 3 pairs, first a bit pricey. The other two from a high street shop which makes cheap ones, which seem better than the costly ones.
Hope all is well with you and hubby and lads.
All my best wishes

Sorry to hear about the eye probs, did you go to the ophtalmologist ?
The weather here has been very hot and sunny, with fewer thunderstorms and rain than forecasted.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for good weather for you for the weekend
Hope your internet is stable now and doesn't cause any more problems .
In case we don't talk before, I wish you a time in Cyprus, and we'll talk again soon, I hope

The forcastis for hot weather at weekend. So we are preparing for a bbq and salad.
As to eyes, think it's just these new glasses.
Spoke to the people concerned about website. I changed telephone people. From British Telecom to Talk Talk. This confused the dial up. Alth ough I kept the BT line. Don't ask me what the problem was, computers and me are in two different worlds.
Just finished packing for Cyprus. Do it now as I won't have time between now,Wednesday, and when we go. Bought some new polo shirts and tee shirts. Coll doesn't like tee shirts with designs on, so had to get plain. Told it is very hot out there.
Only going for 7 days so not sending cards to any one, we'd be back before they got them.

Welcome back, traveller
The Liquid Warrior (Vescere bracis meis) Posted Jun 30, 2006
Yup, packed already to go, Fantasia.
Straw hat, shorts, tee shirts, jeans, swimming costumes blah blah blah.
Very hot 90 today. Love the heat, hate the cold.
Thank God the car's got climatic control.
No work on horizon, although my neighbour drives a taxi and takes school children to and from school and says they are looking for drivers to do the school run, so I've asked him to get me an application form. A few hours in the morning and at school, finishing time, so nice and casual, also only during school days.
Buying salad stuff today for weekend. Got the meat already. Coll is preparing a ratatoue. is that how it's spelt. I keep saying with real rats and leaving out the tails and whisker
Had friends over for dinner last night, ate outside on patio. Lovely evening. The lady is a hair dresser and did Coll's hair for her ready for hols
How's yourself? Health OK? Hubby and lads fine?

Nice hot summer weather here, hope it will stay like this
Hubby is planning another LAN party with his youth group for tomorrow night, he even managed to rent a room on very short notice

Weekend went off very well. It was up in the 90's so we sat under the apple tree. I did my famous BBQ.
Hope all is well, must dash, justb popped home for my case. Just as well, as I've found out that they are starting work on the balcony.
See you soon.
Tony

Hi Toni,
hope you had a great holiday
It's been very hot here, no point in going to Cyprus or another hot country
Spent a week at my sister's, but we didn't do much, we tried to move as few as possible
Hope you and Coll are fine

Hi Claudia
Hope all is well with you. How are Klaus and the lads and yourself?
It's been very hot here, so yes we wasted that money going to Cyprus. A bit dissappointing. Had a lovely holiday, but the culture seems to have gone, that Greek culture. It was all footbal TV bars and karaoke bars. No Greek dancing or music. Met a lot of Russians there. Had a to wear sronger sunglasses this year, it was rather bright.
Popped home to collect mail and give Coll & her daughter a chance to talk in private, been a few problems with the divorce.
Went to a party yesterday. It was the chaps birthday and he'd just moved into a new house, so it was a new home and birthday party all rolled into one. 30 people turned up, but he has a very big garden and we drifted out there and there was a lot of food. He is a very good party thrower. We arrived early to help set things up.We got there at 14:20, the party was due to start at 15:00. By the time I'd held lay out the chairs and tables in the garden and Colleen had helped out with the food people were arriving. Then we helped dismanlte and put away things, so we finally left at 21:30. It had been a great day and we'd both enjoyed ourselves. The weather was perfect for an outside bash, cloudy but not too hot and no rain.
Look after yourself.

Hi Tony,
sorry to hear that you missed out on some Greek culture, though from what I've heard, Cyprus is invaded by English people, so small wonder they cater fro them.
Glad you enjoyed the party
It's been very hot here for weeks, but we had some much needed rain yesterday, and today is overcast and cool, so that's good. The lads and Klaus are fine, so am I. I'm quite busy, I think you don't know yet that I am now not only an ACE, but a scout and sub editor for the edited guide aswell, so that's my time sorted
Talk soon

Congratulations on your promotion.
Weather has been hot then cool and rainy here, too.
I was stung on the arm in the bedroom the other Sunday by a wasp. I am told due to the hot weather there are loads of them.
I bought an electro swat which is like a tennis racket with a metal grid. You put two batteries in the handle, press a button and current goes through the grid to electrocute wasps. It works wonderfully the kids love it, think it's "cool" I found a nest in the eaves and went up there clad in ski coat, gloves and jeans tucked into socks and a basball cap on. Baking hot day, dressed for winter. Did it at 930 at night while they were nesting. Sprayed this foam in there and squirted this podwer over it. Got rid of the wasps. I was hoping Coll would swoon into my arms crying my hero,my hero, but no such luck.
