Hope you are going somewhere nice. Have an enjoyable weekend. We are going to visit the hotel in the Cotswolds on 10th June to see what it is like. Just waiting for friend to call so we can go plumb brothers washing machine.

It is chilly here. Can't get his central heating working, very complicated system. Coll sent him some lunch, which he was very pleased about.

Fixed central heating. Cannot plumb in washing machine as no pipes fitted. Have had to contact council again.Nothing but flipping problems, you'd have thought moving into the house all this would have been organised.

Bank Holiday Monday here, a national hoiliday. Sun is out. We had a BAR B Q yesterday. First just Coll and me, then her son, then her grand duaghter and a friend. Still it was quite good. We went to a local pub to meet two of my friends in the evening. One has just returned from Ibiza. Nice evening. This morning I've been trying to unblock a drain for Coll. Had to leave her to come home, just waiting for her call to go back. She wants another BAR B Q.

The weekend was ok, the roads were mostly free, so the driving didn't take too long Still, six hours per tour. No BBQ here with a weather like this

Well he rang me at 11 at night on a Bank Holiday weekend to say he had a leak in his bathroom. Trying to call a plumber out at that time of night on a holiday wold cost a fortune. Anyway a friend popped around and sorted out the problem. We just have to have the gas cooker fitted.My boiler is still out and a repair man is supposed to be coming this morning.Today they say will be nice weather. Yesterday we painted the wall of Colleen's greenhouse and she sorted out her will.
Pleased you had a good weekend. We have a weekend away on the 10th June when we go to see this hotel for our ladies night. Then another at the end of June when we go to a ladies night. Colleen has friends in Cyprus and we may go out there for a few days.

Now that sounds like the life of a very busy man

It looks like we fly out to Limassol on 5th July, well Larnaca airport then go to Limassol.
Boiler repaired. Took 10 minutes.
Got a lodge meeting this evening, and I have a major part in the evening, hope I don't forget the words.
Colleen's leg and back playing her up, so she said she would stay at home to day to rest them.
A grand son's birthday on Sunday and they return from USA Sat, so we are planning a birthday dinner in a local restuarant.

I'm sorry to hear about Coll's health problems, hope you are well ?
We've all caught a nasty cold last weekend, no wonder with the weather being so cold and wet. I really hope it will get warmer soon. Wenrt to Aldi early this morning, they sold flight tickets for 50 € per flight. My brother in law had asked me to go and buy some for them. The line doesn't fly to London, so I didn't need any for myself, and BA offers flights for the same price anyway.

The last time I went to an Aldi I bought a bottle of wine, may not be the same type of shop
Coll has a trapped nerve which physio is trying to remove, with not much success.

Jusdt got the tax code through, will have to check it as I think it's too high. Don't want to give the government any more of my money than I have to. I once wrote to the tax office, thanking them for their interest, but informing them I didn't want to join their club, but they took no notice.
Since I've been staying with Coll a bit, she doesn't go on the websites, so we don't log on, and I don't speak to you.

Been strange being retired. Still looking for work, but unusual, none the less. Been so busy don't know how I found time for work.

That's how it is for many people, they usually eve´n don't find the time to do their shopping until a minute before we close

I dropped some jackets into the local dry cleaners. A suede coat and a blazer. Just went to collect them and have had to take them back. The button I'd asked to be repaired on the suede one was still coming off, and there was a stain on the blazer that hadn't been there when I'd taken it in.
We booked into a hotel and found that they'd only reserved a single and not a double.
Is no body out there doing their job? Can no body get the simplest instruction right? What is the world coming to?

I know this phenomenon, we have to deal with it at work all too often - getting goods we didn't order, lacking the ones we did order etc. I often wonder how the companies manage to survive when working so badly

Wow what a scorher! It is very hot here, just the way I like it. We have been messing about in the garden, and gardening too Had a BBQ. Going to Tenby in Wales in August.
