Been offered one, actually in telemarketing. Where you ring people up and sell them things. Don't think I fancy it. Sudden;y had an urge for chocolaste. Just a sec.
Coll will kill me it's not on my diet.
I bought Coll and Easter egg. It was the size of a rugby ball. The grand kids were after it, but we kept it hidden.
The other day it was really nice and I did the first bar b q of the season. Were hoping for better weather.
Coll's grand child Alison came over and logged on to MSN deleting Coll's log in name and pass word. Coll cannot get into MSN again as she doesn't know the log in or password. It was set up for her by her4 son, who is in USA. We sent him and email crying help, and are waiting for reply.

I thought there is an option in MSN if you've forgotten your passsword ? Never tried it, so don't know how it works. Hope her son will remember, otherwise, she'll have to ask somebody for her email addy ( which is the username), then try to find out the password, or set up a new account.
My name change is due to the fact that I've joined the thingites a while ago

The problem is that we clicked on the forgotten password icon but it requested the hotmail address which her son had used to set up the MSN, which was different to the one for her e-mails. She can get into e-mails, but not MSN.She does not know her hotmail address as it was done for her and she is like me, not very computor literate
I have been a thingite for some time, but I do not understand the sommelier of applewine and the lady of green sauce bit. Not being very bright today, sorry. I have just applied for a job in a library which sounded quite interesting, working with DVD, CD, video and recordings, something I am quite able to do. They wanted a degree in librianship(?) What a dgree on how to file a book? Anyway I've convinced them to let me complete an application form. The chap on the telephone sounded really interested when I told him I'd worked for the BBC for 33 and a half years and had spent 25 years in library and archive work. Keep your fingers crossed.

You can bet I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, sounds like exactly the job for you
Tell Coll to ask her contacts which email addy is shown to them , I think it should be the one she needs to sign in, but I'm not sure. Here's hope her son will remember which settings he did for her.
The apple wine is related to my entry about the Ebbelwei-Express, the green sauce is related to my entry about frankfurter GrĂ¼ne sauce

Ah ha, ho ho. I see.
Yup we've written and telephoned her son and asked him to contact us.
The granddaughter at first requested could she use the internet to do some homework and we said ok. Then she admitted she'd been chatting to her friends on MSN. Colleen was very annoyed. Anyway, what can you do? Kids. huh?
How are your two? I recall you had a problem with at one stage, not wanting to do school work?

At the moment, things seem to be going smoothly, so I'll not complain. He has been home very late a couple of times, that's why he's grounded this week.

One of Colleen's granddaughters is on some sort of report. She is 13 and the school make her sign in, her father sign for homework when it's done and so on. Shame as she is a very bright girl. I think it's the divorce. Her mother and father are breaking up, she cannot stand her mother, honestly hates her.I never told you this, so don't meantion it to Coll when you meet. Kids are the same what ever country, huh?
Thursday and Fiday I am going on a seminar. This is called "Leaving The BBC" I said isn't it a bit silly sending me on this when I've been gone for 2 months? They said it's the only time there are vacancies. So 2 months after leaving I'm going on a seminar for leaving

Lovely sunny day. Had a Bar b q last nite. Checked out a smashing local hotel. Cleaner called at Coll's this morning, we were not expecting her until Monday.
Friend's birthday and I'd forgotten until I looked into diary. Must get a card.
Computer problems. the internet security was nor updating and is frozen in the updating mode. So when I go out I'll just close it and hope for the best.

Hi Tony, hope the update has gone on-it sometimes looks as if nothing happens. Or maybe start it again ? The weather started rainy and cool and grey, but is now warm and sunny. not good for my blood pressure, this up and down

Good news about the downlaod. No error messages here as yet, maybe it's the download taking all the reserves ?
Hope it's only temporary with the tablets for Coll.
If your brother moves, does it mean you'll have to organise everything ?

Most likely he's useless.
Don't know if it's temp for Coll. She has a trapped nerve in her spine and is under going Hydro and physio, which is painful, but she says gives her relief. It makes it diffiuclt to walk.
The updating is going through many different programmes and the first one was very slow, but the others seem to be going very fast. The longest one was the virus download. The spoam one took only a few seconds. At the moment it's the pop ups check. It stops popups while ypu are working on the web. I've just printed up a hotel that Colleen really likes as it is local and not as far as the Cotswolds. It is a four star holiday inn.

Forgot to say good to have Lil back with her saucy sense of humour. What was the operation for, do you know?

aka Bel - A87832164 Posted May 10, 2006
They broke some bones in her neck, maybe a similar reason (i.e. trapped nerves) to what Coll is having her physio for, but not too sure.

that sounds awful
A friend of mine has just been told he's got narcolepsy. He was driving down the road and lost concentration for a second, hit the kerb. Luckily no one was injured.
Anyway have just been on a seminar for leaving the BBC very interesting. Didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Got another day of it yesterday. Tonmorrow it is financial and tax credits day. So I'm hoping to learn more from that.
Be back on again when I can all the best
