Well...
The deadline of 31st December for their reply/response has been and gorn... not a letter, not an e mail, not even a phone call.
H'mm.
Hard hat on time, I think.
(Oh dear, I do hate confrontations)

I doubt it very much - the hassle I'm having has left me lost and flat and all I want to do is hide. I haven't got any fight in me anymore, its hard enough just to stand.

Well, they have.. sort of. 12 days after the deadline, I got a letter from the Yellow Perils saying "OOooh look, we think we owe you some money after all" - and a promise of £17.00 they'd overcharged me on VAT for the artwork (don't ask ME...) and an assurance that they had repaid my original fee - nestling in my bank account it was, honest, and - and -and... well, this was news to me, since I'd had a letter from the Bank saying "We wants our overdraft back missis or we'll send the boys round". So a friend, who's rather good at official business letters (and better yet, can quote remittance numbers without stuttering) wrote an absolute masterpiece of a letter with really heavy formal phrases, which basically said "Look, you're not being very clear, and unless you can quote chapter and verse accurately you're looking at a solicitor matey".
Not that I can actually afford one, but the YPs don't need to know this minor detail, do they?
I'll keep us posted.....

With Smirnoff's snotty business letter, your legal nouse and my belligerence, I don't actually envy them even a little bit, really.
I don't usually enjoy official looking letters on my doormat, but I must admit I'm rather looking forward to their reply. By the time they've unravelled all the hereuntos and wherewithfores and remittance numbers they should be so exhausted they'll have to give up!
(I did, and I signed the letter meself!)
