Six days...

I am now being referred to someone with an unlikely label of "podiatrist" (which means foot doctor). The GP has finally accepted my claim that my right foot is out of kilter enough to refer me to one.

(Beats the hell of the the Pain Clinic and Gynae dept, anyway!)

I guess, in the meantime, I'll have to continue to hop carefully and arthritically.....

Five days...

Bouncing gently up and down in anticipation. I suppose I ought to start getting paranoid and spend hours reading up potentional hazards/worst case scenarioes about denervation.

I do not believe any potential after effects could possibly be any more painful or miserable than the pain I'm experiencing or have experienced.

I can't rememeber a time when I didn't have any physical pain.

Oh! Apart from when the diagnostic worked.

Took me a few days to figure out what was missing, mind you, but I got there.

Nah... I don't think I can be asked to get paranoid about the "What ifs?" If it louses up then it louses up, and I'll deal with it same as I've dealt with anything else that I've had to deal with.

Gosh... was I really that confident 48 hours ago?

Obviously; I wouldn't have written it down, otherwise....

H'mm. Whatever I was taking for it *then* I wish I could take some *now* because right *now* I am absolutely gibbering.


Still. Hopefully by this time next week I should be in a position to know within a little whether

a) its been successful and

b) what mobility I have/don't have

in short, what capabilities I can regain or wave goodbye to.

In the meantime, its around 60 hours and trying not to count.
