The point being...
Who
Hello! I am Simon...I am twenty-seven and a bit years old.
Where
Dulwich, South-East London. Very nice.
What
By day, I'm actually a web programmer, working in Shoreditch1.
I tend to write about architecture mostly. As much as anything else, it's a means of learning about it. Hopefully sometimes the results are not entirely shameful...you be the judge of that...
So let's have a look then
- Well, first off, we have my article concerning Peckham Library. This wasn't originally written for the guide, but it promptly got scouted so I thought I'd do some more. It's all edited-up and officially In The Guide, which is nice.
- So I got ambitious and knocked up a little overview of the life and work of Renzo Piano - Architect. This one went In The Guide in about 10 minutes flat, and a big goes to number 6 for his help with that one.
- And for a bit of variety, a quick one about Giant Anteaters. Because they're there. ITG#3
- Can't have an architecture section without him...now subbed to within an inch of its life and ITG: Norman Foster - Architect.
- One about The Kaufmann Desert House - recently recommended for inclusion
More architecture based entries will be forthcoming. Perhaps also some geographical type stuff for #6's new club. I had better get a move on...don't expect many more fluffy animals though .
Great, I want to buy you a present
You can: here's my amazon wishlistHow can we find out more
You can visit my homepage at www.pointbeing.net. There you will find all sorts of links, to some of my other writings and some sites that I've worked on, at work, as it were. Because they're there.
