Hi there, pointbeing!
I've been assigned to sub-edit your entry on Giant Anteaters, and I must say you've given me a nice easy ride! The quality of English is outstanding and it meets the usage guidelines in <./>SubEditors-Style</.> almost perfectly.
What follows is a list of significant changes I have made:
Changed to throughout.
Changed occasional imperial measurements (feet, square miles) to metric.
Changed the genus "Myrmecophaga Tridactyla" to "Myrmecophaga tridactyla" - I was picked up on this for my own name a week or so ago which contained "Athene Noctua". 
Added a link to the IUCN when they are mentioned, and one to an h2g2 entry on leaf-cutter ants.
That's about it!
Let me know if you'd like anything changing before I return it to the editors!
