When I was last staying with my mother it was her birthday and she got a Moonpig card. It was not really a suitable design and even though her name was on the front, I found it very impersonal. Shame - the people who sent it are really lovely.

Did anybody see the film "Her"? Joaquin Phoenix's job as a writer of personal, handwritten letters and cards was a brilliant idea. I'm surprised no one seems to mention it, even when they are actually talking about the film.
