Vashti Posted May 1, 2003
I just walked all the way to the bus stop to check the timetable. Didn't even occur to me to check it on the web.

It's really dead here. Dead as a dead thing that's been dead for a dead long while...
I've taken about 3 calls since my last post... make that four.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooo oooooo oooooo oooooo ooooo ooooo dull.
I've been worshiping at the Pratchett temple too...

So nobody wants to call their family for the bank holiday, huh?
I need 33kxp to finish the 1Mxp fi.co.special.tactics I started this morning. *bounces*
Actually, not much point following up to this now, you'll be home in a minute.

*bounces around, wondering if you'll think to check here for posts while you're away*
It was GREAT this morning, two calls every 15 minutes, almost like being at home except the whole slow connection thing, and only being able to go on the BBC pages, and being on an uncomfortable seat... so not much really...
Right at the moment however it's call after call aftercallaftercallaftercallAFTERCALL!!!
I can't believe Telewest is soooooo busy... infact I believe I might actually have been given uber priority on the sodding thing, as there are no calls queing and I've been taking them solidly for about an hour...
*mutter mutter mutter*
*wanders off to find a team leader*

Sleeter Posted May 10, 2003
Ha! I was right! They had me on a higher priority than everyone else! I hate it when they do that.
Admittedly it's not that much of a difference, but I can at least write here between calls.
GNAH!! I've only just got off high priority when I get hit with vodafone as well!!! Sodding unfair. I went to the woman and asked if we were busy and she said that no contracts were busy, then 5 minuts later I get another contract added to me. <-ingp!**edooffface>
Why the hell do that? I'm sure I've taken more calls than anyone else already, why pile more on?
*mutter mutter mutter*

Sleeter Posted May 10, 2003
I hate working three switches!
And I can believe they don't have a '<-ingp!**edooffface>' emoticon... so unfair.
Bah.

*looks like the little druged up bean*
I took tablets for my pain, and now it's a lot better... that and not being on Telewest anymore (I was on it since I came in this morning... everyone else was on 1 call every 5 minutes, I was on constant. )
No pain no pain lalaalalalaaala.
Just hope it continues through tonight... it would be nice to NOT have another night like last night...
Oh and they've given us (near) full access, we have the same access as team leaders now (yet still no Discworld. )... seems I'll have to be database admin bean to get the full Discworld goodness. How unfair.
Still, being able to go somewhere other than h2g2 and bbc news is good.
See j00 soon...

Wanna chips tonight? My treat...
I wants chips, and chicken, and curry sauce, and bread, and butter. Mmmm.
You wanna too? Huh? Huh? We could eat them while watching Buffy! Sound good?

Vashti Posted May 13, 2003
Wow, full net access. That means I should probably start writing in my blurty again and not here, huh?

Did you see my post suggesting cloves? Meant to be good for toothache. If we're going for chips, I recommend stopping in at Tesco for cloves. And white bread.
I've also filled the freezer with frozen veggies. Mmm num num num.
And yeah, chips sound like a really good idea. Mmm ... chips ...
I have Buffy 7x19 (which needs to be restarted midway but otherwise is okay), 7x20, and a really crappy quality version of 7x21. The first copy of that I downloaded turned out to be Friends. No, I didn't keep it. I'm trying to get a better quality copy, but the one I have is watchable from a distance. Poor sound quality though.
Looking forward to tonight.

Wah, it got all busy.
Just took me 11 minutes to read through your post, and it's taking me even longer to write this reply.
Sooooooo unfair. I've been taking calls like this all day while everyone else has been sat twidling their thumbs, now I transfer it goes mad.
Ahh well, two hours till nummy chips. Chisp, ARrRR Num Num Num!!!

Okay, I really am no good at this whole being in pain on Telewest thing... I was about to bite some poor guys head off. Notte goode.
So unfair they're putting me on the busy one with pain. *grumbles*
Do you want to come in and walk me home? It could be like exercise or something?
I wonder if you still check this... *poder ponder ponder*
Work?
Vashti Posted May 20, 2003
Of course I still check it.
I thought you weren't in pain any more? Why pain? Did it materialise from nowhere when you were least expecting it? Have more ibuprofen.
And sure, I'll come and walk you home. You finish at 10:30, right?
Whose head did you nearly bite off? I bet he deserved it.
