Well whether you go whoo-de-doo or just smile your serene smile (or is it the tipsy one) having the current diagnosis is better than going for chemo and readingabout it cheered me up a fair bit anyway.
Hope things continue to go well and I agree that you stoic acceptance of the news is probably the best wat to go.

Make long term plans. I'm sure they're good for you.
. . . and in a sense, you can only budget for survival. The alternative takes care of itself.

Hooray!! What a great way to start the weekend!!
(You don't want to eat all your virtual choccy at once, though, or you'll have to move in to the gym! Can't do those Google maps from there

Recipe for success...
Microwave Chocolate Cake in a Mug...
4 tbsp Self-raising flour
4 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp dark cocoa (if it is chocolate powder, beware the excess sugar
content and adjust the sugar/chocolate balance)
1 egg
3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp oil
(3 tbsp choc chips or grated choc if you have it)
(splash vanilla essence)
1 large coffee mug (and a plate under it, because it is going to
overflow )
Add dry ingredients and mix
Add egg and mix
Add liquids and mix
(Add choc chips and essence if you have them and mix)
Microwave at 800 for 3 mins and check.
Should be just soft on top.
(3 mins at 1000W is a bit too long)
Turn out of mug onto the plate and serve with ice cream if you have any.

You might need two, of course...

Yep.
Twice...

Does need the adjustments I added, though, to the original.

Would I be an evil enabler by mentioning that you can make that same chocolate cake in a mug by mixing ~1/4 cup chocolate cake mix (or whatever your favorite flavor) with 3 Tablespoons water, mixed well and microwaved on high for about 45 seconds? Yeah, probably so.
It's not as rich as usual , but then it's easy, immediate nd relatively limited in damage...~90-120 calories, depending on your chosen mix.

Have you ever thought about what they put in cake mixes? Because to make them cheaper, and keep in a packet when mixed, they have to adulterate them... And it is unlikely that the eggs are free-range, because battery eggs are so much cheaper...
