waves to everyone. It does get sunny here in canada, even in the winter. Sometimes those sunny cold days are so pretty.

<<*wishes there was a HE season...where can I get a hunting permit?*>>
I feel the same way about tourist season in Sevilla (not so much a season as a year-round event). They are soooooooo lucky I don't carry a gun.

nice to meet you, azahar. today is a horribly windy, cold, wet day. not the nice kind of winter day at all.

Oh, I wasn't proposing *shooting* them...
Originally, it was supposed to be "the season", so I'm admitting it was a typo.

How lovely to see you again, Recumbentman. I've left a couple of comments on your blog (they are waiting for you to okay them) and have added you to the amigos list on my main blog (http://azahar.wordpress.com/ ).
Wow, this is really turning into a proper homecoming!

You'll be okay, Mal, as long as you don't wander cluelessly down the street with 40 or 50 of your braindead friends, stopping en masse in front of tacky souvenir shops or to read restaurant menus, thereby blocking the way of the people who actually live here who are trying to get home with their supermarket shopping!
Ooo, time to take my bloodpressure ...

Everybody knows people don't actually *live* at tourist destinations. They're all extras hired by the tourist board.
A few days ago, the Schwebebahn driver nearly squished someone in the door (with an advance warning) because they were taking turns posing for photos in it, while the rest of us had places to be

Hey, I'm heading down to the tourist board today to see about my back pay, Mal!
Hi abbi, how are you doing? Yes, I'm feeling okay. Still getting over the last op and dreading more chemo in January, but the biopsy report was the best that could be hoped for...

After the 'death sentence' I was given in October, things are definitely looking up.

A chiste for you:
To his son´s show
a friend invited me to go
an awful perfomance it was
the child couldn´t play piano worse
"What do you think of the execution?", he asked me at the end.
"No execution, but a good slap will be enough, my friend"
(I am a poetaster now)

Um, don't quit your day job, Mar.
Meanwhile, I seem to have way too much time on my hands ... check out my new coolio Fotki widgets on the tapas blog and my azahar website.

I’ve always loved birthdays and have never understood people who fret about “getting older” because, as I’ve always said, it sure beats the alternative. And of course this year that statement carries a lot more meaning for me after everything that’s happened since last May.
Welcome to my birthday, everybody!
