the system is playing up, when we get to the email. and click it was coming up with a tech problem cant register because of a fault

its been up the wall a few days or more,i gave her one of mine till she can get a new one, then i will transfer anything messages and the page to it.

ive just tryed and this time the system as acsepted, but as of 20 mins ago she is still waiting for the confirm email.

if i thought helping someone to come on here was going to be a problem, i would have left it till the system got better to use,sorry if im in the wrong but when its transfered it will still be the same perosn just a diff number jim

a friend introduced me to h2g2 this past week and was helping me to get it set up. I tried to creat an account and i recieved this message everytime i tried to.My friend was helping me get my picture posted and also my page set up until i can finally get my own account. I have been waiting for the confirmation email for quite some time now. As i said here is the message i got when trying to create my account.
We are experiencing a technical problem.

Still a bit odd that someone who couldn't open their own account here could then use Guide ML well enough to post a PS link to their photo within the hour.

It's just very curious.

The account obviously belonged to Jimcracker previously, and I don't recall him being much of a geek. And Jim left here in a huff a couple of years ago, bearing a bit of a grudge. Anyhow, sorry if we've made you feel uncomfortable Susan, but your circumstances do make a person wonder, that's all.

i did LEND it to susan, i set the pics up and i was the one that put the link on, then i told her to change the password to something else for now.

if the system would give a new account she would have one, but its up the creek, so should someone who wants to join something they are told as people that are kind, and welcoming to wait till the bbc sort the problem that as been on for over a week,

to transefer the whole page to a new one i can do in less than an hour, but till there is a new account available, is it wrong to do without, you tell me.jim

Things have been a bit odd since the last system update. None of my Guide Entries are showing on my page. You have to click on 'See More Guide Entries' to see them.

ive managed to sort the page over and the old on is dead now.

i lost the jim777 my first when the digis where first wiped, with the sso, and the pawword was a letter under the amount alowed.

then i remebered the answer way back, and as i had a new account, i just let it go on the back burner.

the returning was up the creek for over half hour at 11-30pm last, the tech messagese, with see more to a long drawn out explanation.from what ive noticed it looks like the reg is hitting and missing at times.ie couldnt reg suaulaura.jim

Fotki photo update. My Sevilla photo album was getting a bit unwieldy at over 300 photos so I have moved them over to a Sevilla folder on Fotki with seven different albums (so far), making it a bit more user-friendly.

This means all the URLs have changed so old links won't work anymore. But here is the new link to the folder for anyone who is interested.
