For me, Kamloops is tulips, at the end of January, after riding the Transcontinental thru three days of prairie blizzard, standing on the back deck, just like some president in the movies, with a joint in my hand as the snow flew by and filled in the tracks behind us.
"They'll never find me now!" I cried into howling night. And they still haven't.
