We've had some mixed weather here, from sunny and mild over wet and miserable to sunny and freezing cold.
As the house is still being decorated, the balcony is empty. I do hope they'll finish soon, I'm fed up with having men jumping on my balcony and staring to scratch here or there at all times of day and night. It's especially startling when it's dark - I mean, they can't see anything in the dark, so what the hell are they doing on my balcony then?

You have workman that actually work after dark? i'm amazed! That sort of thing would never happen here, it's bad enough trying to get them to work in daylight! What kind of work is being done?

They're painting the outer walls and window frames. And I don't think they work after dark - I guess they're just out to scare the hell out of me.

There are laws against peeping-toms you know Just make sure you are always fully clothed eh!

Something like beige or crème - they were white before that.
And I have the windows covered, so no peeping possible.

I've heard from Arty.
He has been posting recently, but he's logging into hootoo via his mobile phone, so posts are short, as is the time he is online.
He seems to be well on the whole, though not overwhelmingly happy with his current situation.
Are you still subscribed to the Q & A? That's where he's most likely to post, it seems.

Well maybe not for a whole house, but it would stand out.

I guess that's true. I don't mind pink on others, and I think it really suits you fantastic, but it's not *my* colour. It's funny, I've never possessed many pink clothes, not even before I knew that I'm an autumn type.
I did have a lot of dark blue and black clothes, though.

Did you have a nice evening? We spent ours with K's mum, talking and watching TV, and to my surprise, time passed quickly.

I went to bed at 10.30 Not much point in sitting up till midnight when you're on your own.
