I booked the weekend off, to catch up with some other things, which i've almost managed to do

I guess your garden requires quite a bit of attention now we're nearing autumn.

The weather is dry, with the sun trying to break through the clouds, quite pleasant.

I'm almost up to date with the garden, just the grass to cut - i may do that later. I only have a couple of things left to plant, which i must do before winter.

Things are ok with me, I really can't complain. Everything is peaceful here a the moment, just hope it will stay so for a while.
How's the giant doing ? Growing ?

The mail has'nt arrived yet, i think its my digibox being slow.

I've done the entry for the giant, though i'm waiting for Rich to give it the once over before i put it in PR. I found it difficult to get a nice flow to the entry.

I sent it to your pc addy, as it's the one I've saved in my outlook. Shall I resend to your digibox addy ?

I know how difficult it is to write an entry that not only is interesting, but reads well aswell, it's very hard work. I bet Rich will give you a hint or two, he has so much experience with writing, reviewing and subbing entries.

I'm not on the pc at present.

I trust Rich's jugdement, he will tell me what's wrong with it and how to sort it out.
I'm ok writing about plants and bugs, not so good with things i don't deal with regularly I think i'll stick to things i know about in future.

Will you be doing anymore entries?

I'm not sure about writing another entry at the moment, although there are a few subjects that I find interesting, I'm not really sure anybody else will do and that it will be worth all the work researching and writing them. I just don't have such good ideas like others have, and I'm not going to write anything for the sake of writing like some others seem to do, the actual writing is very hard work for me, not being a born author/story teller and not being a native speaker.

I can understand why you would be reluctant to write any more entries. Maybe you will come accross a subject that really appeals to you and be inspired eh!

I should get out and cut the grass while the weather is still nice.

Well, you know, it's not that the subjects I can think of don't appeal to me, it's just that I'm unsure whether they'd appeal to others - which, after all, is who we should write for: the others, and not ourselves, eh?

Several months and several entries later...

Hi Jen, I've just seen you put yourself down as a possible for the meet. It would be fantastic if you could make it after all.
You know that I wasn't sure myself for a long while, but then I thought, ok, it will be the only time I'll treat myseölf to something, and there'll be so many new people this time, and who knows what will be next time, so I booked my flights after all.

Hi Claudia.
Theres nothing to worry about with that account Marks an old friend and that account is pretty old too. He pops in from time to time, but never stays around long.

That account is brand new, as of today. I just wondered whether you thought it ok that he lists you on his PS. It's horribly wide, and the links he posted don't work, but I'll pop in and say hello.

Ahhh...i see it is, he's done a cut & paste from one of his old accounts. Really i would'nt worry about it, he's most likely not going to appear again for several months.

I don't worry, you said he's ok, and I trust you. I only wanted your opinion, after all, we've had quite a few oddies recently Which you can't know, but it's a fact), so you just never know. I rather ask one question too many, than not enough.

I know of some of the oddities....at least it's not yet another reincarnation of a certain bird-ghost eh!
If Mark passes by my space at any time, i'll ask him to remove those non valid links
