Max, took your advice but Mr Magster still had a terrible time this morning removing the clamps. We got into all sorts of positions I can tell you. I think I'll have to get another set. Could you recommend a particular brand?

Missed you too , but when work calls I have to go - it keeps me a wealthy (!) man. Power tools, hey? How come you've won those? Did you get to choose the tools you won, or was it decided for you?

Back to the tools, had a choice, so we have gone for a selection of various things like a bigger and better drill with lots of lovely bits, plus a cordless for those out of the way places in the garden. A gas weed blaster (looking forward to using that) a power painter thingy for indoors and outdoors plus load of little things that make life easier. It was nice being able to choose the best rather than what we could afford.
Me and the magster man enter loads of competitions. We have won quite a lot including 2 x £1000 holiday vouchers for travelcare, a complete sony sound sysytem, 3x DVD players, a TV, loads of DVD's and books and CD's (if I don't like them I sell them on Amazon) one of those new apple mac pc's (sold on Amazon!) scanner, printers, about £2000 in cash all together, plus loads of small household items like kettles, tools, facial saunua's etc etc. Plus I won a holiday in Ibiza but it was 2 days notice to go and so I couldn't do it. Just waiting for the lottery now

Well, OK, not exactly wealthy in relative terms, but money isn't my great motivator either. I could probably make a lot more if I could be @rsed to work harder !
Sounds like tool-box heaven to me, esp. the weed blaster! Seriously, I always try to buy good quality tools, just from a safety point of view, as I've been let down by the cheap stuff in the past. Lucky old you. I never win anything - maybe I should try entering some competitions some time !
