Hey! Was looking at the internet and parents conversation and came here. I also ended up here a bit at random after seeing the website in one of DNA's books. It's true there's only so far you discuss theories with friends who're more interested in their CD players!

Things like parallel universes are really amazing. the string idea is a bit complicated. Been reading a book about Einstein and it came up. Any ideas?

Anyway basically just thought I'd say hi!

I love parallel universes, it has come up in another idea i have been discusing on here about free will, so its more than an idea, it has some uses.



I still havnt learn about the string theory, i dont know why, it must be good, oh well some time

Hello. I happen to love String Theory, and quantum mechanics. String theory is a brilliant new idea of how to unify the four fundamental forces: electromagnetism, gravity, and the weak and strong nuclear forces. Basically, it states that all subatomic particles are not tiny 'point' particles, but extremely miniscule vibrating strings! And, even more interestingly, the way that the strings vibrate determines the type of particle...

That means the universe would almost be like a giant guitar, or stringed instrument, where different notes correspond to different sub-atomic particles. If you want to know more, just ask. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the strings exist in 10 and 26 dimensions.
