so you see the breaking off of your image as the long term relationship that you need to let go of? makes sense i guess.
the presence is male, maybe you yearn more companionship. i get out of my depth with this one i shut up now.
guess you can't help good luck with the timing

LOL
There was lots of pressure with the relationship, far more than I could handle, so I can see the reason for the dream back then
Maybe, I'm still adjusting to my image change and still getting comfortable with it, though I'm happier now than I have been in a long time
Er, companionship, yeah I guess I do really, how many of us are truly happy on our own
Same time next week doc?? and erm, why do I have to pay the fee into a swiss bank account??? lmao

ok. One of my more disturbing dreams.
There's a man dressed in dark colours and all he wants to do is kill me - it's not his fault it's in his nature. Like he's some kind of automaton. He chases me through a freaky maze - beautiful but alien and scary like something from Alice in Wonderland. He finally hunts me down into a brightly lit chamber and I turn and fight him. We both have knives. I finally win and he kneels down in front of me and whispers make it quick. I'd just read of mice and men so I knew that the fastest way to kill someone was to sever the spine as it enters the skull. So I stab him there with my knife but he's not dying and I know he's in pain. But if I don't kill him he wont stop till he kills me.

thanks!
One of my scariest dreams:
I’m walking along, and there’s this woman, she’s average height, short dark hair, and edging toward being plump. She had two men with her. And I’m utterly terrified of her, not the kind of terror that makes you run but the kind of terror that make you freeze and choke. She hates me with all of her being, but not a hot burning hatred, it’s a cold calculating hatred. And the two men grab me my the arms and I’m taken to this big green field with a grey straight lane running through it. The scariest thing then was that their was an unlit pyre and knowing that it was for me. I broke and ran and I got to the lane, but one of the men caught up with me and dragged me back and they burned me to death. The look on her face wan’t of screaming righteousness but satisfaction, the look of a job well done.
Then I got reincarnated, and I was in the same situation. I knew that they found me, every incarnation, and when I got to a certain age they’d burn me. It was the ultimate revenge, I’m not sure what for, I think in the life where I’d known her I was a witch.
This time round I kept running and I got to this stone building. It was rectangular and had two stair cases, one running through it lengthwise up the middle to the top and one coming down from the side to the ground from the top. I ran up into it because I knew it would take me to a new dimension (I thought of it as a level), then I was in a palace and a prince and a girl in a wheel chair gave me protection. But I knew that I’d have to be reincarnated again one day.
For a week afterwards I dreaded a loud knocking on my door and going downstairs only to see it was them.

excellent book, did you study it in english class?
right, lets start on the maze.
'He chases me through a freaky maze - beautiful but alien and scary like something from Alice in Wonderland. '
i know you are young like myself, so it is possible the maze represents your subconscious image of life and the paths you will have to choose. you describe it as beautiful, alien, scary and like something from alice in wonderland. these are all opposing which amplifies your uncertainty in life at this stage. quite natural, i assure you
'There's a man dressed in dark colours and all he wants to do is kill me - it's not his fault it's in his nature.'
i believe this nasty fella represents all that may hinder you in life as you see it. it may well be that you are feeling held back or purposefully distracted in your waking life.
'He finally hunts me down into a brightly lit chamber and I turn and fight him'
this chamber is where you are confident. it is the safe haven in your mind where you control what is going on. we all have one, you have visualised it you know you can never get rid of all your problems and challenges in life as we cannot predict the future. this is why he does not die despite your well researched method. but for now, you feel on top of things. you know that this may not always be the case by your last sentence, 'But if I don't kill him he wont stop till he kills me.' this will give you the advantage in later life.

I think it would be cool if Creachy took over the Temple of Dreams at U206992, because I haven't checked in there very much. I've just been keeping my dream journal at U208521. Creachy, if you want to take my Dreaming Doppelganger name off the temple page, that's ok with me. Same thing goes for the poem, I've got it on my page now, so you don't have to keep it. I would like for there to still be a link to my dream journal, so that dreamers will stop by my page too.

Well, lets see, I'm not good at describing dreams but I'll give it a go.
In my dream, I woke up on an operating table during an operation. At first I felt numb and couldn't move. After what seemed like days, a doctor in what appeared to be a bio-hazard suit leaned over my face and flashed a light into my eyes then pulled a sheet up over my head. After that I'm not sure but I woke up choking and gasping for breath like I was being strangled.
Not very nice, huh?

Aries - you silly person, you got yourself tangled in the bedsheets didn't you
'I woke up on an operating table during an operation. At first I felt numb and couldn't move.'
it is everyones biggest fear that they wakeup during an operation perhaps in real life you are waking up to somekind of unpleasantness that is happening around you and you are aware it is too late for you to stop it.
'After what seemed like days, a doctor in what appeared to be a bio-hazard suit leaned over my face and flashed a light into my eyes then pulled a sheet up over my head.'
have you just watched outbreak this just emphasises that what you are now aware of has been happening for a while now. the light in the eye, to me, represents being shown the light/best course of action. but you feel you would probably be better off hiding. did you mind that the sheet was put over your head?

werekitty - your scary dream is very complex andi feel it is probably personal to your state of mind in a good way of course. i am not going to analyse it as i believe you would be better off thinking about it yourself

Aries (ACE + Badger) Posted May 6, 2003
No, I never got myself tangled in the bed sheets, they weren't even on my bed that night, it was too hot. No I haven't watched outbreak, until now, I hadn't heard of it. Yes I did mind the sheet being put over my head, I usually like to see what is going on around me.

there you are then, you don't like being left out that is what the whole dream theme seems to be. just remember, sometimes it is best not to wake up during an op

Its not a good idea to stay awake during one either. I found that out 3 years ago.

Aries (ACE + Badger) Posted May 6, 2003
No, it never hurt, local anaesthetic, wonderful invention!
Means you can stay awake and see all the gory bits when they cut you open.
