...That could be fixed rather easily, you know. Gos know I do the Animal Crossing-esque costume change often enough to know that ti's more or less allowed. People generally don;t care what you're wearing hereabouts, though it is quite the fun element to play with.

*Hjik looks down at his bare hand and sees his skin tone* Ah but what it is to be pale. As a winter, what colors other than bland ones go well with my skin tone?

Since when was black in th least bit bland...? And who said you can't sinply go with darker versions of a colour such as hunter green as opposed to emerald, and a dark bloody crimson as opposed to the traditional colour wheel brand of bright red? I fail to see how that pans out as bland. And then there's also the myriad of things you can do with different patterns. You can have fun with things. Like for instance, right now I would be in my formal wear, so I would say something like such:

*She snaps her fingers and suddenly is wearing a long pale blue dress. (which is made of silk, or something rather like it, for the way it flows about when Jade moves.) It fits tightly to Jade's small frame, but not so much that she cannot move. On it are embroidered patterns of vines and leaves of Lorien in light green and metalic silver thread which only just catches the light when she moves (think fish scales). Her hair is golder blonde, with intermittent streaks of bright magenta. It is piled high atop her head, most of it in small beaded braids, but a large majority of it cascading down her back, hanging near to her waist. On her brow is a modest silver circlet, set with small shining gems. She wears a delicate silver chain mail gauntlet on her right hand which is inlaid with light blue stones.*

You see? Very easy, that sort of thing....

Your craft is in the manufacturing of weapons, mine is the art of costuming. Both can be very nerve wracking at times, as I understand, and neither is in any way easy. ...Especially not if you're slightly on the obsessive side about detail, which of course I am.

Ah, what it is to have no fashion sense. . . . I suppose I shall just have to settle for dressing like Neo (without all the weaponry)

No fashion sense? How truly sad for you. I would weep, but alas, I have this rose in my mouth. ...Not bad with the neo duds tho.

Oh darling, don't go /that/ route. Many straight women everywhere would be incredibly sad. ...However... Well, I won't say that here.

Yes, female fashion is quite an easy thing if 1) you are aware of what looks good on your (meaning my, really,) frame, and 2) have a fairly good sense of colour. 3) know what you can fail to look rediculous in, considdering your personality (You know what I mean. Some girls can pull some things off, and some just end up looking stupid. It's all in the aditude, really.)

Of late I've been wearing quite a lot of black and red. Because really they do just go so nice together. But I still wear all of my other stuff too, which is a smatering of different colours, truth be told.

I'm not much of a traditionalist (with matching, in any sense) when it comes to fashion (meaning I don't make a big deal out of matching very often. On occasion things that really ought to clash horribly can look just smashing when worn together... But keep in mind that only a certain kind of person with a certain amount/kind of personality can do this sort of thing. Or a Gap model. but I'm not gonna go there.

I'm very much into the 1920's and 1930's style, both mens and women's styles. (This is mostly due to the fact that I've found that I look really bloody good in a pinstripe jacket and a fringey slip-dress.) The men from that time were just bleeding gorgeous, and the woman looked so elegant! Fashion was so simple, too. I wish it would revert back to how it was. But until it does, I shall continue wearing vintage clothing. (Thank the gods for secondhand stores...)

Please do. Sometimes using telepathy for long amounts of time causes me to develop slight headaches... Like right behind my eyes. I think I feel one coming on now...

Oh, that's cool. I got my Tuhy fix this morning anyway... I am a winter, yes, but I have a predominantly Irish and Scottish ancestry, so I'm extremely pale, but in more of a pink sort of way. I wear all sorts of shades of red, from bright fresh blood sort of red to maroon to colour wheel red. And black... Well black is just black. you can go lighter than black, but then that's just gray, and we're not talking about gray now, are we? I can do really dark greys. but light colours in general sort of make me look washed out. Which sucks because all my kitty shirts are white, so I have to wear my pinstripe evil schoolgirl jacket to offset it (which works all right, actually.). But it sucks that I have to cover up the kitties, you know?

*Hjik puts his mouth on one end of the rose, and for just a split second, the rose's stem is in both of their mouths. Just one of those life moments.*

I have no doubt that jackets/coats have souls. I just aquired a cream coloured (very very vintage!) wool coat from the local secondhand store and /wow/, does is have personality... ...The only problem wiit it having personality is that it's the personality of the last person that owned it. And I think she might have been, well.. I can't really say. Something like a prostisute (!) or something. So I think I shal have to wash it before I do any wearing of it on a regular basis. But yeah, I kind of collect jackets. My personal favourite is my leather jacket. It has fake fur cuffs (loks like they slaughtered thousands of teddy bears for it, it's /that/ obviously fake,). I rather like it.

Shall I occasionally remind you to continue with the telepathy...? Would that help, do you think...?

*With a thought, she switches her shoes to ballet slippers and continues spinning about the room with Hjik as she had been, only not en pointe.*

Ha-ha! Tai chi meets ballet... Creepy, but it works. Makes it less of a yin form. Gives it some balance...
