prof just had a message on facebook from ex neibour, that rob my ex lodger as pranged his motorbike again, i will have to ring his home or the mobile when i get home.

cant stay long its a pound an hour at the cyber, ive had over 40 now lol.

Jim has had some sad news his great nephew Robert aka Jim's ex-lodger was involved in a traffic accident two days ago (he has only just recently found out) where his motorbike was struck by a car on his way home to Huddersfield from his place of work in Bradford. As a result of the accident his hip and leg were badly damaged and he has had seven hours of intensive surgery done to reconstruct his hip and leg. It's wait and see now to see if he can use his hip and leg or walk on it. At the moment he is doing fine. Jim will be going to visit him at Leeds General hospital between 2-4pm tomorrow and will give an update here when he gets to the cyber cafe on Saturday.

This is what I was afraid of. So sad

I can understand why people love the freedom of riding on two wheels in open air, but the consequences when you crash are so terrible

i have a new toy, the virginmeadia tivo box, look it up on virginmeadia site or google.it does a lot.

ive had my pass since when i was 60.our buses now most dont give a ticket, just a front scan on the machine.

i thought i might miss the old box but the tivo as a few things to keep me happy, i get ebay, and youtube as part of the deal, and all the hd channels for free as im on the main xl package with talkunlimited to 01-2-3- numbers and local day or night.

hi prof, thanks for that i was looking for it.

ive found another problem on the lines for the old digi, if as they say we have to put on standby at night, its ok to use next day for tv, but to acsess the youtube i found it just frooze on loading twice in two nights, so i reboot, then put on standby at night before i go to bed.

we are upto 35 apps one was taken off, just to do with the olympics.

ive unsubbed a thread, got no reply so pointless, how we are forgotton lol jim
