'blade runner' pistorious should not be allowed to compete outside the para, that's what they are there for and we should all respect them - pistorious included

you will have seen we got disqualified over a changeover, i didnt see who won, and wasnt really wanting to know if the jamacians won with the man with springs.

what will happen now more will jump on the bandwagon, and where will they draw the line, olympics was i thought under your own steam, as they say. outside parts are para and should stay that way. jim

I also think we should return to the times where only amateurs could compete - but that is so difficult to prove

that would make it to hard to get anyone to compete, the sponcerships, and adss, are what get so through, as you say, in the pass you couldnt earn anything, unless as a pro, but that meat no olympic.

we have 29 gold more than was really expected, so most will not get help they nedd, even as winners, jim

Amateurism or whatever it's called died once the Soviet Union and the GDR started sending socalled "state amateurs" to the olympics. Cuba, China, North Korea and maybe a few others still do

In a few days we will have a huge sport event here in Denmark. More participants than the olympics had - and each and everyone is an amateur

its the para olympics in a week or so,s time, they are aiming for 102+medals, that was what they got last ime apperently.

the olymipcs are gone but the medal winners are all over the tv, and starting to appear on the adverts.

I hope to see more of the paralympics than the other ones, which I missed far too much off. I hear the 800 meters was exceptional with a wotld record and - was it five personal bests?

I did get to see Jamaica win the 4 X 100 - a great run

i see from the news that one of the teams for paras are in trouble they have people that have been causing trouble, and the paraolympics havent started yet jim
