Hi Jabs, thanks.
I'm sure we'll still hear the applause if we listen hard enough!

My friend Antonio the frustrated composer
I listened to my radio on my own-io,
when I got a phone call from Antonio.
Told me he composed a capriccio in adagio.
So I told him to calm down and drink a cappuccino,
as he shouted out to me that he a few days to compose an oratorio.
And he has ran out of inspiration which was adding to his frustration.
Could not concentrate because of the loudness of his neighbour's conversations.
So to help him to transform the situation with new methods of relaxation.
Which helped with his imagination and his creative orientation.
So with my collaboration and with good communication,
got his neighbours to become quieter and earned their appreciation and their congratulations.

Btw
*Does anyone here wish they need never have to defr
rag thier hard drive again?
*Does anyone here wish they never had to worry as much about catching another
computer virus again?
*Does anyone here have an older pc but would still like to run a
cutting edge operating system at full speed - like they had a new uber pc?
My pc is an old office workstationpentium 3 500mhtz 1999/2000 built - and runs like a dream with - cutting edge software ( you name it ) as fast as any new pc. (faster than a new pc with Wind*ws V*sta anyhow).
After a couple of years i thought i installed a firewall-(not because of viruses-i have never caght one) and i have never had to defreag my Hard drive.
Hahemm!

If i may make a suggestion: http://www.ubuntu.com/
If you currently use a Micros*ft operating system; you might find that just as good, more secure/stable; with a vast array of quality software, and a very large community of users/developers speaking the same language as you do.
Btw that one; is only one of many, many varients- it is aimed at desktop users, and is one of the most popular at the moment - there is a distribution for everyone, running on every computer architecture, with every piece of software you need.

Hello El D
One day I was fishing at sea and caught a lot of cod,
without the use of a rod, watched by the Ood were feeling rather odd.
Because they found themselves amongst people all called Bod.
Who all had wads of money and part of the hip-hop squad.
Rappers with style who liked to nod everytime they passed a facade.
And even composed ballade about their love of the drink pernod.
So I went home with my new friends the Ood and the squad,
who came with their quads as they listened to cd's of Ken Dodd.

what about freedom and choice
yakky dah! with a leek like Max Boyce
What about freedom and fun
free to recite that rainbow hued pun
what about quality not junk
the difference between merit or flunk
what about a "cod" or a "prod"
its your choice, as surely as there's a "Bod"
Mr Ben
Mr Ben
Ow how i envy them
Little feet
That step a beat
To the rythmn of our Bod
Bod said let thier me light
From darknerss bathed in a spotlight
from the big screen above
Mr Ben sends his love
As the fans go wild
Its Jones the steam
Encouraging Ivor over the last hill
With Max Boyce
Dressed as a little red Indian
With a totem leek and a bald eagle quill

Spiders
It is stealing,
It is a mother,
A woman half grown.
One day then another,
These spiders unfold.
We are small children.
I am crying, frost lies over the ground,
Waves are gathering in the waters,
These spiders are old.
Missing the Muse,
Refuse
Her last refuge
When the black sky thunders.
Life is the wonder.
So many blunders -
These spiders are cold.

Idle hands do little good
And idle minds are murky
To idle hands deny all pud
To idle minds talk turkey
For idle hands and idle minds
Will feed nobody's belly
They'll just do mischief of all kinds
And watch the stupid telly!

The rain falls gently down the drain,
and watching it can be quite mundane.
The gloomy skies and the developing puddles,
makes me feel miserable and in want a few cuddles.
As I wait for a bus that is driven by Guss,
who's always very late and loves to fuss.
They say that the weather is mild for this time of year,
but it doesn't give me any cheer but the thirst for another beer.
I would rather it heavily snow and that will give me a heart-warming glow.
As I watch it flow with the cold winds from the North blow.
At least it would make everything look bright,
and at night banish the darkness making it a wonderful sight.
As it falls it dulls the sound of the noise of the cars,
and other types of noise with a stillness that some find bizarre.
But at least for a short time everything looks clean,
and even a sense of the serene as I take in the wintery scene.

They are the friendly dead.
They plump up your pillows while you are away.
They put your herbs and spices in alphabetical order.
They float hither and yon through the cosmos in search of your missing socks.
They are the friendly dead.
They have time on their hands.
A lot of time.
Just not here, since eventually a train will take them to the next world.
Even in the afterlife, there aren’t enough trains for everyone.
They are the helpful dead.
One of them baked the extra pie you found in your refrigerator.
Your dog messed on the rug by the door, but you never saw a spot.
The helpful dead had to move furniture to ease the rug out from under it.
Then, they got it to the river and washed it.
How they got it dry, no one knows, but you never suspected a thing.
They are your former grade school teachers, deliverymen, drugstore clerks.
They loved this world, and bitterly regretted having to leave it.
Some of them look forward to the next challenge.
Some don’t.
But they’re here.
For now.
They are the waiting dead.
While they’re here, they want to do little things to make the world a little better.
You don’t know they’re there.
But they are.

Feck! Dunno what to say- i feel that way!
Two gems one after another-TT and Paulh
&
my muscles ache - i am awake awaiting
the pain from strain - of overeaching
the built up barnacles of a bad lifes bad technique
my face a beak a sqwauk in the chill damp squib
my nostrils as of dragons filled with sleet and rain for fire
my thoughts frozen good intentions on a shelf stacked in piles
the ride stops
the snowball melts

If I had words, real words.
Not just sounds, but meanings.
Would I believe them?
What could I build,
A place, something left?
A stone, a mark, a reason?
