I have, since the beginning, been open with my wife and shared information with her. This has always been in an attempt to be "transparent" in all my dealings. There's also the necessity that, if either one of us passes away, the other has enough of an understanding of where all the "links to parts of our lives" can be found for final resolution. My Dad did something similar for my Mom, having a central repository of information insurance, medical records, warranties, access to bank accounts, and points of contact for people who might need to know. I've tried to emulate some of that so the info is available...in case.
