Just got back from two day Solar Infection of Aran Island & part of Galway; rather knickered...

A little smiley - dogadopted us on the island, Cavalier King Charles spaniel, he insisted on acompanying us; we got inspections over quick & then dozed on the beach in the sun, he stayed with us!

Eventually found he wanders all over the isle & is called Charlie, gets fed etc by Awl & Sundry.

We think he fell in love with P's teddy bear, Blueberry (who travels with us, obviously)

Is it just us, or do the rest of 'you lot' have teddy bears?smiley - panda

I don't have a teddy bear anymore, but I do have two gorillas, a tiger, a penguin, and a Tasmanian Devil!

My late Dad gave me my first teddy bear around the age 6 or 7 but I did not do anything with it and cannot remember what happened to it. I have in later times have been given various soft toys but have not a teddy bear yet.smiley - smiley

Awww.... i shall look out for a teddy bear for you, Thinker.

We all (P, me, B & A, the volunteers) went to see another Drama production tonight (it's Drama festival time); we saw Hedda Gabler (Ibsen); interesting, set in modern day times.

Anyone else seen it?

Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary]

Heya, Terri! smiley - smiley

Nope, have not seen that Ibsen. But you and P seem to be doing alright again, yes? smiley - hug I hope you are.
Dan and I have occasional rows - usually misunderstandings, really, and often just a result of having to communicate long-distance (and mostly via writing)... but we figure it out eventually, because we know what we mean to each other.
We've started talking here on h2g2 about five years ago; it still kinda amazes me, sometimes, how we can make it work. smiley - smiley

In other news, it's been kind of a hectic week, here. My brother was in a car accident and broke his ankle - which is, of course, relatively alright, but still not much fun. He's in the hospital now, waiting to get operated on, and we visit to keep him company and bring him proper food and stuff. My parents do, mainly, anyway; so I try to pick up the slack at home, running errands and such.

Thank you Terrismiley - hugsmiley - cuddle, apart from the wolf, the bear is my favouite animal (especially the black bear) and even heard that there are plans to bring back the brown bear to Scotland.

No, I have not seen the Hedda Gabler (Ibsen) play yet.

Ooh, Lady P sighting!

Hmmmm; the 'me & p' thing is sorta sorta; most of the time it's fantastic; but we are both pretty sensitive & maybe interpret a difference of opinion as a personal criticism.

There has been a lot of pressure on P, what with Eddasmiley - dogpassing, his mum having health probs, me having them too, extra w**k projects...latest is his son seeming to not wish to visit when he's over here at easter, reason he gives is he finds me annoying.smiley - rolleyes Yet we seemed to get on very wellsmiley - huh

...So P has to decide how to reconcile his 'guilt' at splitting from Mum when V was small with the fact the guy is adult & should know (since he has a long term GF) that the path of True Lurrve is sometimes a long & winding road.

I've offered to stay away if V does wish to visit, but P isn't really into this, feels V may be doing some form of emotional blackmail. Don't know. It's severely upset us both.smiley - cry

P is off yet again Inspecting all day tomorrow, the volunteers are going with him to see more Eye Land places; i maay just stay in bed & only emerge to sort animals out & go on internet; i seem to have spent the last month cooking & cleaning only!!!

The shingles seem to be scabbing over nicely though! And veg patch has been mainly dug oversmiley - ta B & A; so hopefully i can get my seeds planted soon, maybe somesmiley - chick...

Woolie Bear is growing about two inches a day; Yoda is Totally Disgusted such a creature has taken up residence!

Yes...what amuses me is that they un-yikesed it complete with asterixes!!!

*Mods* Asterix is a French comic book character & no was harmed in this posting. This complies with EU Regulations, which in no way condones invasion, lape, root & pillage & ensures equal rights for Vikings, Gauls & Anglo-Saxons.

*Translation = yoke.
