The cold in that region is unbelievable; it's definitely as cold as Canada, & these people ar totally in the open, they are burning donated clothes to try & keep warm. Logic says "clothes be damp/so dry them out/me need warm now/burn them/me stay warm for loneger/maybe help arrive?"

Plus donor fatigue, so many tragedies this year

That's awful! And it is really cold here in my part of Canada right now, I can't even imagine being stuck out in it indefinately

It's rather like the story I heard of the African nation sent corn to plant to grow crops to feed the people and they were so hungry they ate the corn seeds.

yep! countries spend millions on weapons, then cry to the world for aid and complain they are not doing enough

Amazing too, how they can find helicopters for war, but not to carry supplies and help lift out the injured.

also, with no disrespect, all of a sudden, millions of blankets appear, some countries hate the west , but we are straight in when disasters happen, they don't hate us then for a few month

Terri is depressed; full stop. Terri is depressed as hell for many reasons. terri is currently depressed cos having to blackmail very very very bad tempered viking into going to fetch her ciggies "Only if you give me a & don't criticise me"

Terri is depressed at having to foster herout 'cos she just cannot walk him any more 'cos her knee just simply cannot do it, no matter how hard she tries.

Terri is depressed 'cos the place is filthy & she simply cannot clean it without help.

Terri is depressed 'cos someone she hoped would help with practical stuff turned out to want sex as payment & when told nicely "sorry, but no" used unpleasant physical stuff as means of persuasion; not polite.

Which now means possible unpleasant physical stuff for him in return from viking &/or patrick N, but a whole heap of blame thrown at me.

Terri is depressed 'cos, aw f**k, give up, too many things, too big a list.

I wasn't aware Terri and the bad-tempered viking were dealing with each other again, but I'll wait to hear updated stuff via email.
