I've just make a mess in Terri's 'clean'?? thread...

Sorry, I have been meaning to get here for days.. and well.. I blame the tablets


Our arrived at the weekend, as previously stated.

She intended to call into the Chester area on Saturday afternoon, but I think she got confused as to where Ellesmere Port is, as she ended up with meeting a bargee pal on the Shropshire Union Canal, which starts at Ellesmere, Shropshire and ends at Ellesmere Port


Aaa'anyway! From her phone call, it appears that she had booked on Saturday 8pm ferry from Dover - This was more than cutting things fine, as she was still north of Birmingham chatting to me on the phone at 6pm!!

We await to hear more of her adventures

Gütend Abend, Herren und Damen, ja, ii am now in Bierkellar Land!

Managed to get attacked by a Teenage Mutant Ninja Tree along the way of course, but have had boat trip on the Rhine and not sunk it, am now at Internet Cafe at the complex where P's Mum lives: she is 91 and amazing, unlike me and P doesn't even need glasses for reading, can walk certainly faster than me or and still plays violin,reckon there are some good genes in that family!

Due to the fact that my wretched leg swelled to the size of a red rugby ball and i couldn't walk at all, eventually gave in and went to add to my Hitchikers Guide to Places Not to Get Sick In."Ferries cross the channel, in a wheelchair off we go!"

The E.U seems to be a figleaf of somebody's imagination, since they won't accept a shiny new Medical Card from Oirland, even though i was referred to Accident/Emergency from ;who suspected a thrombosis "but any sudden movement or walking could trigger a pulmonary embolism, then basically you die"

But on arrival at the Hilton Hotel for cultured Silver P's Mütter twisted a few arms, got us a nice self contaiined guest suite with orthopaedic bed, etc, who seems to think it's just (yet another) infection. and borrowed a nifty Zimmer frame trolley thing, has applied some sort of compression bandage thing, given antibiotics; i feel like a rattly mummy!

So if he gives the all clear on my Impending Doom tomorrow, it's back in the van and onto the Black Forest, hopefully without being beaten up by bits of wood,then into France Central Massif, where i will probably get bitten by a rabid bambi or something.

Watch this space, but , i have my and copy of the of course.

Right, off to check this Non Clean backlog stuff, Jab and Lil better watch out i don't send you a ceramic Lorelei in!
