They're a nice bunch over there, but I think I'm only on day release until there's something for me to get my teeth into on 5L. The current subjects are very important, but you, Doc and V Max write what I think, just better and quicker than I can put it, so I stand cheering from the sidelines and making inane puns on MC-H.

Just got a few minutes before I stable the horse and unload the cart.

Tatting does indeed mean crocheting delicate lace items for randy old colonels but there is another meaning, and you got it almost right. Tatting is also a description for rag and bone women, who consume vast quantities of Tattinger (to keep their vocal chords in reasonable condition).

If you're "tatting away", do you ever tat at home, or are all tats played over 2 legs anyway?

Sorry Dr. for my broadside on Five Live News, but I felt that you and Bushy were being quite unreasonable to Ruth. Call me a wimp, cancel my tatting orders, never talk to me again BUT I have to be honest and say that I hate to see bullying of any poster (which is why I have defended Ian, Anthony, Tim and various others in the past).

You have your ideals and believe in them strongly, and I admire and respect that. Others have theirs too though......

That's fair enough Sarnia, and I respect your anti-bullying stance. THis was not the intention though - I hated Ruth's response to Bushy's post since (the way I read it) she was seeking to avoid censure by using her ethnicity. The intention was never to "bully" her but these threads do sometimes go on for far too long and I appreciate it can look that way.

Anyway, you still have the tatting order.

Haven't read your message yet Sarnia but I can also offer my assurance of not "bullying" anyone! She always nips in with her venomous little comments and squeals "unfair" when pulled up on it! It was nothing more than a tacky little attempt to have a dig because Bush is wrong over the inquiry and she knows it! Just because she is Jewish is no reason to try and twist an accusation of racism at me.

What is quite surprising is why people would get all annoyed with anything typed on the Internet??? Both Ruth and ian seem to take the forum very seriously indeed I find and in truth I have to confess to being somewhat naughty by using this against them ... I think I get more insults than anyone on that forum but having said that I really couldn't careless whereas Ruth and ian must have RSI clicking the "Alert A Moderator" button?

You say what you think is right Sarnia! It makes a refreshing change to hear a "real" opinion rather than the PC rubbish most people spout! Hope we are still Internet "buddies" even though we disagree on this issue?
