'30/500 codeines' I think you'll find that's 30/500 co-codamol which is 30mg codeine and 500mg paracetamol. Depending on the individual the effects of this painkiller can either make you very drowsy or can make you light headed and dis-orientated initially. I'll be somewhat surprised if she's given 'tramadol' as that will clash with her thyroid treatment with the potential for causing complications.

Apparently, a hugs gallstone is stuck. It is not clear whether that is the reason for her pain, though. They'll keep her in until they've decided what to do.

She is giggling because I allowed her to press ANY buttons she'd like to press if it would make her feel better.
