Hello, and again thanks for coming by.
My name is George, and as the Nickname implies, I am a Divemaster certified by Scuba Diving International (SDI). Currently I am pursuing my next certification: Assistant Instructor. I expect to have that done by the end of the year and be a full fleged instructor by next summer.
Scuba takes up a great deal of my time when not at work, and I find it much more fun than work as well. I hope to figure out a way to one day make a living at it.
A divemaster is a dive professional, someone who is qualified to conduct, control and supervise certified open water scuba divers. It's pretty neat, and gives me a chance to bring others into the sport and to help ensure that they have a safe, fun time.
Until recently, I was a salesman of dental istruments for a company that specialized primarily in endodontics. For you non dental people, that means root canals. And while I realize it sounds bad, its something that I did enjoy for the most part. I am currently a sales representative for a national wireless telephone company where I call on Fotrune 500 companies in my local area.
Otherwise, I live in Dearborn, Michigan. Home of the Ford Motor Company and home to the largest Arab population in the world outside of the Middle East. I'm not arabic, but I love the restaurants, and it certainly lends a different perspecitve on the problems in the Middle East.
