I'm hoping very soon! I mean there is an internet cafe onboard & the cruiseline has opened an Outlook account for each passenger before boarding. Of course there's a charge for each e-mail sent. My Plan(wish me luck!)is to snap off 3 or 4 photos, 2 possibly with coastline in the background & send them off that same day - what's $4 or$5?

You could post the pictures in an online photo album then post the link in your journal, so you don't have to email everyone the same pictures(while getting charged for each email).

I've been ok. Things have been a bit quieter, lately.

Oh yes it did...I akmost wish it had lasted a few more days! But it's nice to be home & have easy access to hootoo. I had tried to check my page & leave a few messages, from an internet dafe in Sitka. For some reason I could'nt get in! But the price there was $5 for an hour - onboard the cruise ship an hr. would've cost $45 or so (75 cents a minute).

Wow, that's expensive. I have paid $5.00 for 15 minutes, only once because it was that important.

Well they did have a couple package deals, but otherwise that was it. So Seaport Cyber http://www.seaportcyber.com @$5 an hour was a real find...I wish I'd used it when we were ashore in Ketchikan.

Well fairly quiet & I ate about 1/5th of what I did on the cruise ship.Almost like going cold turkey.
