I want the Forty Licks album particularly now as it's got the track She's a Rainbow on it. Driving me smiley - silly because it's being used in a TV ad at the moment.

I've put it in my Amazon wishlist *hint hint* smiley - santasmiley - winkeye

I have a few of the old albums on CD; England's Newest Hitmakers(with Route 66, etc), December's Children(and everybody's)-with You'd Better Move On & Get Off of My Cloud, 'Request'(with She's A Rainbow & 2000 Light Years From Home) & 'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out' with Midnight Rambler, etc. Just noticed or was reminded, that all four are marked 'digitally remastered from original master recordings', so not Totally unvarnished I suppose.smiley - winkeye A couple old cassettes too, notably Jamming With Edward. smiley - musicalnote

Some housework, considerably more hootooing - it could've & should've been much more balanced!*sigh*But such is life...smiley - winkeye

Balance - isn't that having a bar of smiley - choc in each hand? smiley - winkeye

I always try to make sure I do a few unnecessary things every day. Make things seem more enjoyable smiley - smiley

Actually my definition of balance is somewhat flexible - a bar of smiley - choc in each hand is nice, but for total smiley - zen balance smiley - choc in the mouth is required too! An acceptable variation involves smiley - choc in either hand, smiley - choc in the mouth & either smiley - coffeeor smiley - cappuccino in the other hand.smiley - winkeye Or for a couple more months there's another option, which involves smiley - choc in either hand, smiley - choc in the mouth & a glass or bottle of local Alley Kat brewery's smiley - coffeePorter in the other hand.(Actually I've yet to try it with smiley - choc, but it's only a matter of hours.smiley - winkeye)

smiley - ermI'm still perfecting balance in a few other areas.

I'd settle for a bar of smiley - choc in one hand and a smiley - tea or smiley - stiffdrink in the other smiley - smiley Perhaps I'd wear a halo just to balance everything out smiley - angel

I have been known to dunk a smiley - choc bar in my tea smiley - blush Is that allowed? smiley - erm

jaz'd(ace & yada yada *sigh* chocolate yada)

Oh it's all allowed when it comes to how one enjoys...their 'enjoyables'(smiley - tea & smiley - chocin this case). But you raise another possibility for balance, I know that Godiva makes a smiley - choc liquer. So that could certainly make for a very alcohol-based component! And coincidentally on the topic of smiley - tea I notice that one of our Canadian supermarket chains( http://www.superstore.ca/west )has introduced a smiley - choc chai-the east indian smiley - tea. Actually both a Licorice Spice(licorice with cinnamon, orange peel & clove)& Chocolatey("a complex blend of cocoa nibs, cocoa pods and cinnaman and naturally sweetened with stevia"). So yes, smiley - tea or chai-as purists would stress a distinction-is another option. Or rather smiley - choc-obsessed option.smiley - winkeye

smiley - bigeyes I have just had a look at the Godiva smiley - choc liqueur. I would definitely end up rather unbalanced after a few of those though smiley - biggrin I see they have recipes for other drinks including Godiva smiley - drool

Looking at seasonal smiley - choc (as you do smiley - winkeye) Hotel Chocolat do their own smiley - choc Advent calendars smiley - smiley

jaz'd(ace & yada yada *sigh* chocolate yada)

smiley - ermYes the smiley - choc liqueur would make the 'balance' issue rather touchier/trickier/dodgier.smiley - winkeye But then walkiing a bit of a tighrope now'n'then keeps things interesting...if not challenging.

I must admit I haven't really looked into dark smiley - choc advent calendars. Most that I've seen are milk smiley - choc...although I'm sure Purdy's http://www.purdys.com or Bernard Callebaut http://www.bernardcallebaut.com might have one if I ask. Or I can certainly keep my eyes open, so to speak - I have seen them! Hmm, possibly Carol's http://www.carolsqualitysweets.com , they've relocated but when they were in the area they imported a number of products from The U.K..

Balance has been restored - I have just had smiley - tea and shared some Galaxy smiley - choc with my daughter. smiley - zen That was so good of me don't you think? smiley - winkeye

I wish I could remember what they were but a few years ago a Dutch colleague brought me some smiley - chocs. They were smiley - loveblush
Can't say I'm a fan of Hersheys so far although I've only sampled their Kisses smiley - erm
