You're the smartest (or maybe luckiest? ) race predictor around! I had a damn good day watching, and I really did win something: bragging rights over my sister, thanks to your picks!

Aye, I enjoyed it immensely! Watched the s and drank all day, what more could a person ask for???
Sorry you're at work and bored. I go back to work tomorrow morning, myself. Have just been reading, and popping online occasionally, as my hands hurt too much to type a lot. BUT, since you need cheering up... I'll copy and paste a fairy tale for you:
PINOCCHIO
Pinocchio had a human girlfriend who would sometimes complain about splinters when they were having sex. Pinocchio, therefore, went to visit Gepetto to see if he could help. Gepetto suggested he try a little sandpaper on his manhood and Pinocchio skipped away enlightened.
A couple of weeks later, Gepetto saw Pinocchio bouncing happily through town and asked him, "How's the girlfriend?"
Pinocchio replied, "Who needs a girlfriend?"

The sun was, indeed, shining, but it wasn't very warm, if that makes it any better!
Here's another for ya:
CINDERELLA
Cinderella wants to go to the ball, but her wicked stepmother won't let her. As Cinderella sits crying in the garden, her fairy godmother appears, and promises to provide Cinderella with everything she needs to go to the ball, but only on two conditions.
"First, you must wear a diaphragm."
Cinderella agrees. "What's the second condition?"
"You must be home by 2a.m. Any later, and your diaphragm will turn into a pumpkin."
Cinderella agrees to be home by 2 a.m.
The appointed hour comes and goes, and Cinderella doesn't show up. Finally, at 5 a.m., Cinderella shows up, looking love-struck and very satisfied.
"Where have you been?" demands the fairy godmother. "Your diaphragm was supposed to turn into a pumpkin three hours ago!!!"
"I met a prince, Fairy Godmother. He took care of everything."
"I know of no prince with that kind of power! Tell me his name!"
"I can't remember, exactly...Peter Peter, something or other..."

Apparently my plans for last night included falling asleep early while reading a book, since that's what I did... exciting night, huh?
Have you managed to come down from winning so big yesterday?

Hey, if you don't want the money, I'll be more than happy to take it off of your hands...
No, fortunately, there aren't any fires close to here, knock on wood!
Work was...well...w**k, as usual! Actually, not that bad, other than it's d@mn hard to get much done with my hand braced!

It is quite frustrating! But, I won't get any news for another week & a half or so. I have to give the cortisone shot 2 weeks to work.
Yeah, I'm psyched the Marlins took the pennant! I haven't followed baseball closely in a lot of years, but I've always hated the Yankees!

silversmoke Posted Oct 27, 2003
i only took an interest because my sister in law lives in fl, and i went marlin fishing in new zealand, sad isnt it.american football is another sleep inducer, ice hockey isnt bad i liked the old games between Us ,russia ,canada, czech in the olympics, they were pretty awesome.

I actually prefer football over baseball, but don't watch either very much. If I do watch, it's usually just an excuse to get together with my mates and drink !

i think thats usually the score the world over,it is with us we tend to concentrate on the more, stagger to the games then back for morewhat happens in between is a blur. once upon a time i was in nuremburg to watch wales play football,i joined up with some germans in a bar and had to be carried to the game by them, they took me to the entrance and dumped me on the floor. the match was a blur we lost 5-1, i think, i left early got mugged on the way back to the bar and drank till 0500hrs,a friend of mind said that id spent most of the evening in the company of a transvestite called claudia and had a whale of a time, the things thatdoes to u.
