Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 20, 2003
I have a bigger issue than weirdness... My bro came home today, oh the joy I must feel!!!
Howz your day been, any funny stories to share?
Im not stopping long, tired and achy tonight.
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 20, 2003
Bro's only just home and already stomping on your last nerve, eh?
No funny stories I'm afraid, finally braved some Christmas shopping. Oh, and got approved for 6 more therapy visits, though I can't claim my joints are looking forward to that...
*gives Will a and a , sympathizing with "tired and achy"*
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 20, 2003
That you survived to tell the tale of xmas shopping is a miracle in itself! Im impressed!!!
You need too mate?
I think its like in the genes of younger siblings to be able to irritate you just by being in the same house!
Im surprised you joints dont just pack up their arm and leave!!
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 20, 2003
Actually, that I survived is only mildly surprising. That the other shoppers survived is a miracle!
? What a silly question, I ALWAYS need a !
I'm the baby of my family, so it was my job to drive the others nuts
And yes, I received legal papers from my joints today threatening to sue for separate maintenance
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 21, 2003
...comes in, first pleading forgiveness....
Hiya,
Sorry I vanished last night, I pushed the wrong button on the keyboard and turned the digibox off and it wouldn't let me back in again!!
Had a crazy day, still not done the first bit of shopping, well, we have all the food but no presents as yet! My parrot is having a temper tantrum and screaming the house down coz I wont let him out right now, it seems to have escpaed his attention that he's been out all day and eaten 4 pieces of important paperwork and ripped the buttons off the tv remote!
Not loving him right now!
Im the oldest so I dont know if I irritate! Please say it gets better as you get wiser....??
Will that seperation case take long if it goes to court? Maybe it'll allow you a trial split with acces on therapy days?
Anyhow, cant stop, got another insane day tomorrow, just thought I should stop by and apologise for my vanishing act last night!
Take Care mate!
Will
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 21, 2003
No worries, mate, I know real life interferes with hootoo... computer probs, ringing phones, etc!
Parrot would be in deep s**t!
As far as getting wiser: typically, with age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone! At least with age I've gotten better about not taking life too seriously...
I'm hoping that since we've got 2 therapy appts. then a couple weeks off, maybe my joints will reconsider... kind of a cooling off period!
Take care, catch ya later
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 22, 2003
Hiya!
Parrot's had hiccups since he ate the buttons.... keeps looking at me for sympathy..... he's not getting it! Thankfully it was the buttons off the remote for the old tv and not the new 1!
I just hope my bro gets more mature as he ages, I dont get it, all his friends are leve-headed and sensible but it doesnt seem to have rubbed off on him!
Here's hoping your arm will reconsider leaving! You could never be a trapeze artist if it does move out!!
Hows life treated you today?
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 22, 2003
Parrot with hiccups "Polly wants a alka-seltzer"
Baby bro should grow up eventually, if you don't have to kill him first. How old is he?
Day was ok, except I got frustrated earlier when trying to clean, took off sling and brace. Now I'm paying for it
How 'bout you?
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 22, 2003
"Polly wants something..." I just dont think and alka seltzer will help!!
Bro's 19... old enough to know better! You'd have thought being in the army would have sorted him out, but he's better than he was.... thank god!
I always said there should be laws against having to clean.. its not good for you!
Day's been ok, wrapped most of mum's presents for her.
British tv seems to be on a "100 greatest...." countdown of anything and everything. We had heros and villains tonight and musicals next week, although knowing the british public, the musicals one will be awful. Gives me and my mate something to puzzle over! We've already placed our bets on what we think should/will be #1! Probably be wrong tho, we usually are, although we did get #1 villian right tonight... Forst one yet!!
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 22, 2003
mate, phone!
I bet the army may knock some sense into your bro yet, given time!
Countdowns can be fun, but it sounds like you guys get a little carried away with them over there
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 22, 2003
No worries mate!
Time will tell with bro, Im working on the theory it cant make him worse!
Tv over her is pretty crap to be honest. We seem to be over the 'reality show' phase and are rapidly moving into 'countdown' phase. Its not so bad really, lets us vent some pent up frustration. We just scream at the stupidity and lack of tasteof people!
There again, anything is better than so called reality tv.
When are you headed home for the hols mate?
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 22, 2003
I'll pick my sis up at the airport in El Paso Tues. evening, head for Kansas Weds, hopefully early. It's a LONG drive
TV here isn't any better. We're STILL stuck in reality tv. I've got over 150 channels on satellite, and I usually end up watching Discovery, Animal Planet, or National Geographic
Such a wild life I lead
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 22, 2003
So you're not home long then, or are you staying on after xmas? (Gees' Im nosey, feel free to tell me mind my own business!)
Thats going to take most of the day, wont it? You and sis share the drving? She flying in from far?
The fianl realtiy show finished here on saturday night!! most other channels are showing re-runs so I end up on one of the music channels, which all play the same junk or Animal Planet, but with the lion issue with the cat, I have to watch upstairs! Its mad, pay out all that money for hundreds of channels and there's still nothing on worth watching!
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 22, 2003
Let's see. Sis will fly in from Pennsylvania, on the east coast, 5 or 6 hour flight. The drive to Wichita from here will be 13 hrs+ . She'll have to do most of the driving cuz of my hand
I usually make the trip alone, but in the brace/sling, there's just no way. Even if I could stand the drive, there's no way I could deal with getting both dogs out for pee breaks.
We'll hang out through New Year's, drive back here on Friday, and I'll take her back to El Paso to fly out on Sat. 3rd. El Paso's about a 90 minute drive from here, right on the Mexican border.
Thus ends your US geography lesson
I take it kitty has delusions of lionhood? My first did!
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 22, 2003
I really should dig out my 'road-trip' map of the US, Im appaled at my tragic American geography!!
Whats the weather been like where you are, there's no danger of freezing to death on the way home? Dont imagine so somehow. Im typically british in that respect... always think its warm and lovely in America... Go on, tell me how very wrong I am!
Its rather concerning, the has started making lion noises rather than just meowing/growling/purring. That and the brawling in the road, is why she's banned from watching shows with big cats in! I tried to introduce her to shark/whale programmes so that at least we could watch something together but I think all the water put her off!!
Why would I have heard of Wichita, the name's ringing a bell in my head!
Hey there. hi there!
rangerjustice (formerly warrior ranger) Posted Dec 22, 2003
Trust me, your US geography is bound to be better than my UK geography!
Down here, it's been warm... ran the dogs in a t-shirt this afternoon. Up in Kansas, it's been much colder unfortunately. If we hit trouble on the road, it'll be in the Texas/Oklahoma "Panhandle", which is notorious for snow and ice storms this time of year
Maybe you should watch a nice, quiet botany show with the ...
Wichita has an air force base and lots of airplane manufacturing plants... it's known as the "Air Capital". If that doesn't ring any bells, then I don't know
Hey there. hi there!
Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity! Posted Dec 22, 2003
My UK geography's not much better, I can get lost going to the bathroom!!
Warm... Ive heard of that. There again, what I call warm and what you call warm are probably very different temperatures!
You'll have to take a sweater and your thermals then for the Texan leg of the tour!!
Not really a plane sort of person so I guess I'll have to try and figure it out! Thanks anyway m8!
Right, I really should get going, catch some sort of as the tv guy will be here at some unearthly hour to fix my telly!
Take care mate,
chat soon.
Will.
ps, If I dont speak to you before, Have a very merry christmas!!
