If American doctors are anything like their British counterparts, you'll tell them exactly whats wrong, then they'll poke and prod the sore bits until you threaten to rip their head off and ask the most stupid question EVER.... "Does that hurt?".... No Im screaming coz it's fun!! And repeat exactly what you told them in the beginning!

The funniest thing about that.. give a cat a pill thing is thats EXACTLY what its like trying to give Sabrina her pills, I hope she never has to go on medication!!

Orgy in the temple scene......that may just be the thought that gets me through the next couple of weeks!

Actually, Santa Fe was Tuesday... 8 hours travel time for a 2 hour meeting. They could have just sent an e-mail

Today was a different training meeting, followed by the Doctor referral fiasco (it's in my journal, if you didn't see it).


If things go as planned, I'll work some this Sunday, then not be back at work until next Sunday. Surgery's Tuesday. I'm hoping my boss doesn't demand I go to a planning meeting that's scheduled for Thursday... if he does, I may just have to get written up for refusing to go. It's going to be another waste of time, and I'll be d@mned if I'm going to travel over there again two days after surgery to sit and listen to more hot air!

OK, I'm done ranting now!

He cant possibly ask you to go to a meeting that soon after surgery, you wont be fully 'with it' (no offence!) If he says you have to go, Im sure your other h2 friends will back me up in a major kicking of his ass!!! Bosses have no idea, maybe he should go!!! I'm sure to burn in hell for expecting a boss to actually work! What am I thinking?!

The temple scene and a Buffy moment (Alyson Hannigan in V. tight leather) pretty much finished me off. Im only just regaining use of the english language but only 1 of my eyes is focusing properly, the other is still spinning wildly in my head!

He'll be at the meeting, it's at his office. I'm supposed to be there, and it'll be tough to reschedule everyone involved. I hadn't even thought of it until after work today, so I sent him an e-mail basically saying I'm not gonna make it unless we change dates. We'll see what he says. I did actually point out that even if I went, I wouldn't have any coherent input.

I'd certainly back you guys in kicking his @ss, I'll even take pictures if I can manage to hold the camera!

If the world were a perfect place, someday they would release a different version of the temple scene, triple X rated, where The Dance continued to its natural conclusion....

He must realise that its not practicle for you to have to drive 2 hours after surgery on your wrist! He'll have to email you the important bits.... Coz I said so!!
And if he doesn't we'll kick his ass and you have another hand, right? You can use a video camera and then we can all have a copy of the day we went to NM and kicked some guys butt! It'll be a good souvenier!

In my mind, the scene did have a triple X rating and the conclusion was rather good, even if I do say so myself!!

This may make you giggle. My bro has had his goldfish in a tub in the kitchen for the past week or so and Sabrina finally plucked up the courage to investigate today (11.30am). She's peered over the edge, licking her lips and one of the fish launched iself out the tub, smacked her in the face and fell and the floor, flapping about as fish do. Well, the cat ran like the devil himself was after her and refused to go back in the kitchen until about 10pm, almost 10 hours after the fish were returned to their tank!!
She's a huge wimp!!

The video of the boss would be priceless! Of course, it'd be wobbly cuz I'd be laughing so hard...

You'd love my cat, she's crazy! Shes terrified of the things she's meant to hunt but has no fear of things that can kill her, ie, buses/cars.


Our versions of that scene must be pretty similar. I dont think Ive ever seen a woman move quite that quick to 'dance' with another woman! Then again, Ive not seen Xena asking anyone else to dnce, although Im pretty certain you could break a land speed record or two to get there!!!

Your cat sounds like huge fun, at least she plays, Sabrina looks at me like Ive grown another head when I suggest she moves rapidly. She does usually attack my leg shortly after in an attempt to either play or warn me about the dangers of exercise... Im still not sure which!

Dogs are great for big hugs, cats are just funny but they do have an attitude that you just dont get from a dog!

Things are insane here, Im still trapped with folks, my bro's home and my girlfriend lives 200 miles away... been having one of those, 'I want to curl up in a ball and hide til everyone leaves me alone' moments! Im just crazed and SO tired and stressed that Im thinking my brain may just dribble out my ears!
It'll pass, always does. Then I can go back to being bitter and grumpy instead!
Oh and to top it off, Ive spent so long typing up various projects on here that my back is seriously giving me grief and my shoulder is freezing up again!

I've been trying to be at least semi-productive today, doing a bit of housework. I hate the thought of coming back from surgery to a complete disaster area! Work a while 'til arm starts hurting, then rest a bit. Not getting a lot done, but at least I'm trying... So if I pop on and off, don't take it personally!

Well between us we have a working pair of arms! My shoulder has given up all hope and frozen entirely!
