Do I want to be here?
RAF Wing... Lookee I'm Invisible!! Posted Sep 13, 2003
We're abandoning the RCO site because of persistant technical problems keeping it up and going. I really don't have time to babysit it you know?
We're going to try Yahoo for awhile because it has more of the features we were trying to do anyways.

Hope you'll drop by. If you give me an addy I'll send you a formal invitation too. Looks very high tech. Hee hee.

I have signed in as member and my addy is there but i may need a heads up if you send mail because I use that one for posting only mail - not my regular daily mail.

Yeah, I see you on the members list now so it's probably pointless to try to invite you now because it probably won't let me do it. Oh well.. you got in okay, that's the main thing. Glad you dropped by. Go ahead and post stuff if you want. That's what it's for. Also it allows sharing pix or files too. Pretty cool thing I think, at least so far.

Oh yeah, I just remembered something. Steve had a lot of trouble joining because he kept having to validate his email or something so maybe if you don't do that, they purge you from the members list or something.
He says "hi" by the way. Says he might get back here if I ever let him use the computer for something other than fixing my web messes. He's the one who decided we should do the Yahoo thing because he's tired of fixing my messes. Wonder why that is? Hah!!

Ah, email validation. I always have trouble with that, it's very annoying for eBay.

I hate shopping.
I am assuming the one troublesome Gene I have has overidden the normal femal desire to shop Gene.
Never had it ,never want it.

It's really nice to know there's somebody else out there who isn't in to how many lipsticks they can steal.

I have never used Ebay.
I think if you have virus protection and a firewall and read all they have in the way of information you will be ok.
Folks are advised to have a bank or credit card that is ONLY for online purchases. Some service providers have an online card offer. It is also more secure to Not have them store your information if given the choice. It takes more time but is safer. You can also change your passwords every few months for extra protection.
Life has been made simplier for twinny since she can use a bank debit card on the net now for bills

I don't give out card details because I don't have one. You can use a second email address- one that's not a sign- up one (like Yahoo or Hotmail), so a company given one (the school email address I've got works fine. And I only pay by cheques.
