h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The summer crunch is on. Every summer there are wagons of travelors. I love seeing everyone I just wish they would spread it out a bit. No matter what, I get 6-8 groups over lapping in the course of 6 weeks. It was too much when I was more lively and strong. It is just not as much fun now. It is feast or famine. I guess I should give up on it changing People ask when would be good ,then do what they want. they always change and come earlier after that notice. It's *like a grand plan to do this to me yearly*. I am glad I got my trip in first. Geesh ! A little rest and regeneration time would have been appreciated

I can tell my mind is already fading. The mind is the first to go with me.. If I get too darn irritating or more of a babbling idiot, just say so. I will gladly go away, that will mean I need to

hi abbi.....it is a daily requirement as long as it isnt making you ill.you remember how worried we were about a certain person who just didnt appear for a few weeks???have to know that youre .ive just mailed you ,so i'm off to bed now,chat soon,and take care.you should try to explain that the extra work ,meals etc,take a toll on you and maybe your guests wouldnt mind if you took yourself off for some "stress free"time??ns salxxx

You know people who come visiting should maybe bring their own bowls and spoons if you catch my drift? Otherwise you end up tired and cranky and wishing they would go somewheres else, and then they don't understand why.

And besides you need to stick around here a little too so people can benefit from reading what you write.

Hi Everyone, The ones that really wind me up! are the tourists who come to Scotland with their "caravans". They always seem to travel in convoys! which makes overtaking them impossible Then they crawl along at 40mph, with a mile of traffic behind them trying desperately to get passed and cant!! Thats when they start taking chances and the accidents happen

I have almost another week to go. A car load arrives tomorrow (suppose to be today) and a plane on Monday to meet and greet.I have till Wednesday or Thursday before a total 24 hour break

I do not work due to physical problems.
The Meet and Greet in this case is picking up more relatives.

I usually use "meet and greet" for short interactions. This will be short on that day,although she'll be around the general area for months.
This sister in law was a missionary in Equador, South America. She has left the missionary side and has been teaching English there this year. She comes home and works 3 months and can manage to live comfortably (for her liking) and teach. She has always lived simply and slowly so it is not the culture shock it would be for many. I am very fond of her. She is also closer to my speed than most! I used to be very hyper and active. I zoomed by her for years! Now that I am slower to nuetral in speed ,we have gotten to know each other better
