Opening Day
Posted Mar 30, 2004
Baseball season is officially open today.
How about that? You may see an influx of baseball articles from me, and a few silly bets on games between the Reds and Cardinals. I'm sure I'll lose them, I always do, so expect me doing some embarassing things when around here when I lose...

Leaving some groups...
Posted Mar 2, 2004
Unhappily, I leave some of the volunteer groups here.
The <./>Scout</.>s.
The <./>ACE</.>s.
The <./>Gurus</.>s.
My resignations are a result of a problem with the scouts I caused. I want to continue to honor my Code of Conduct, so I'm afraid *I* won't give any details.

The Circle
Posted Feb 6, 2004
Hullo Friends.
My dear friend Hypatia U200042 has created a very interesting and exciting group called The Circle - a place for actual discussion, the sort of thing that 360 used to offer. It's at A2253331
I helped plan it, as a matter of fact, but don't let that scare you away! I only came up with some layout stuff and did the GuideMLing. The eloquent introductions and quotes are the work of Hypatia.
Do join in. It'll be interesting, I promise! And unlike other h2g2 circles, such as ask h2g2, we won't be using it for Duck, Duck, Goose!

Jodan is one.

(a chance for shameless self-promotion)
More than one year ago, after I was locked out of another account, I tried a login name and password that I had usually used everywhere, in hopes I had registered that account earlier. I had registered this account and posted once months before. And it was U201497.
This account has been my happy home for a year now. Amazing that it's been a year. Does it feel like more than a year or less than a year? I don't know, but it doesn't feel like a year. I'm surprised I could learn so much in a year and I'm surprised it went so fast!
For a list of my accomplishments this year, please do anything.

Jodan - finally Mined 42.
Posted Jan 16, 2004
Today, as A1148050 hit the front page for the weekend editor's pick, I became one of the few researchers on h2g2 who have contributed 42 or more solo edited entries How about that?
And I do mean to brag, but I don't want to make my personal space too long, so I'll stop there.
Inquire within for more information on my genius.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
