How odd...
I just meant that with normal cracking there's nowt they can do...yes? I mean I had two cracked and one fractured rib last year and I just had to stay still and be kind to myself.

I don't know nuffin about medical stuff, politics is my bag, so if I may try to cheer Hyp up here- http://surveyusa.com/50StatePOTUS0805.htm Look at the very end of that.
Ohio and Missouri are the two bluest red states according to that I feel a certain kinship with Hyp now...

Excellent charts, Jodan. Actually that did cheer me up.
<> Does this mean you're finally going to get a library card? Go ahead, do it for the Hypper.

An injured person is doing somersaults? You really must be hyper! You rest, you!
And to think, Gore wrote off Missouri and Ohio - which are both more anti-Bush than Illinois Mmmmm.

Are you saying you don't own a library card J???
I've got...hang on.....FIVE!! Do I get a reward?
We're Moving on Down! (the UnderGuide, that is)
J Posted Aug 17, 2005
I used to have a library card. I haven't a clue where it is... I think I lost it when I lost my wallet a few years back (which took with it, SIX DOLLARS!)
I think you do get a reward. Girls, show her what she's won!

Kat, he steadfastly refuses to get a new library card. He does it just to annoy me.
Five cards? Excellent! My kind of person.

I'll tell you what, when I get my six dollars back someday, I'll take it and buy someone else's library card

Hypatia Posted Aug 17, 2005
Library cards are "free". You don't need your $6.00 to get one. And Ohio (I can't believe I'm telling you this) has some of the best libraries in the country. Because, the state funds the public libraries very handsomely. As opposed to Missouri where they don't.

J Posted Aug 17, 2005
I know they're free. I just don't want to step foot in a library I'm thinking that simply paying someone off will be just as effective.
I know Ohio has great libraries. I've always known that. It's one of those things I used to hold over your head as proof that my state is better than your state.
Which it is.

Yeah, sure I'm almost done with my Eisenhower biography (It's going slowly because I'm lazy and it's boring).

If you continue to only read biographies of dead presidents, you'll never make it to old age. You'll die from shere boredom.

J Posted Aug 17, 2005
Not just dead Presidents.
Robert F Kennedy. He was just running for Prez. Got shot, you know.
Clinton's autobiography. He's not dead.

Hypatia Posted Aug 17, 2005
Be honest. Did you read every page of Clinton's autobiography? Because if you did, you're the opnly person I know who did. Folks would check it out and bring it back and thell us that they got bored somewhere in the middle and stopped reading.

Every damn page. A lot of them twice.
Well, not the index. I got through the Gs and, I admit it, lost interest.

Hypatia Posted Aug 17, 2005
WEll, it came out when I was otherwise occupied and had no time to read anything, let alone a tome that long. Maybe I'll read it someday. Probably not the index either, though.

It's really not very interesting.
They have it in audio form. Clinton reading for six straight hours.

Hypatia Posted Aug 17, 2005
Only 6 hours? Are you sure? A book that long would take days to read out loud. Maybe he only reads the juicy parts.
