Why will people *insist* on introducing me to new things that I'm bound to like? New Dr Who aside... a few weeks ago, friends loaned K and I a couple discs worth of Farscape. Now we both like that, too. I'm surely not going to track down 40-odd OOP discs in order to own the series, but we've been borrowing them, a few at a time, since. I've got two Netflix movies at home that have been sitting, unwatched, for two weeks. We're not going to be able to leave the house at all this weekend, at this rate.
(Akshully, we're going to have to- Whole Foods Saturday, then to see a friend's band play that night, and to my grandma's on Sunday...)

Farscape is a lot of fun. Blue is quite becoming in a lass. Sadly I gave up on it when the whole Scorpius angle started being laboured. Don't want to spoil it for you though.
Hope you have a nice weekend. Not much planned myself though, with no money; I've got the shop to myself now, not yet heard about an interview date Think I might come in on Monday just to have a good tidy, make the place how I want it.

>Think I might come in on Monday just to have a good tidy<
Well, there are some words I'd never have expected to hear from you. The going in when not required more so than the tidy.

It's still only a might, but the best way I can think of to get everything sorted, while I don't have anything else I'm forced to get on with. Plus I've got a temp starting on Tuesday, and with no money I'd only get bored otherwise. They really have suckered me in though.

Found you some more coins, by the way - a '47 General Franco peseta, a post-decimal 1/2 penny, and a square thing from the Philippines.
I'm so tired, TFI Friday.

Oh, that's so nice of you! Thank you.
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend. It's supposed to be rather warm and a bit stormy (which means humid) but hopefully I'll get some relaxing in.

Simon's blackmailed me into coming to see him play at the Steamboat tonight. I'll try and keep it together that long (he's buying).
Monday's looking less likely. They're working me this hard on my own, why should I do it in my free time?

K's friends came for the gig tonight- I decided to let them do a boy night thang. So I'm home alone with a flat that reeks of pot and is full of empy beer bottle and curry dishes.
I'm currently seeing to it that you'll soon have "Mystery Train" on DVD.

Thank you!
I didn't go out Friday night after all, but Simon was forgiving. I was aching all over. I think I am going to go in on Monday, but I've got my birthday present to enjoy tonight - Buena Vista Social Club Presents at the Regent.

Watching Zeiram at the mo, lots of fun. Couldn't help noticing though that the intruder alarm panel in Iria's lair is an early Boss DR-series drum machine

Isn't it fun?
Had a few glasses of last night. Back to bed for a bit, I think. No idea when K got in so maybe he'll sleep late, too.

This got me thinking what a great likeness it was.
