Ah, see, I was thinking the object was that if I kept saying it to myself, over and over, I'd eventually believe it.
Sounds fair enough. Do I get to be an too?
*joins in the running*
Hello
Existential Elevator Posted Apr 18, 2005
If it's all the same, I'll give it a miss
Horaay!
You just enjoy me chasing you, obviously... *stops*
I'm going to make same , can I get you any?
Hello
TeaKay Posted Apr 18, 2005
Well, I'll keep on with it double-time, then.
Awwww
You know you could catch me any day...
No thanks, or I'll never get to sleep.

Well, you could always just record it and play it incessantly in the background. Or teach a parrot to say it.
Not in these heels
How about some hot chocolate instead?

Existential Elevator Posted Apr 23, 2005
FAir enough... does that mean I won't get any intelible conversation out of you for a while, then? ["no change there" she says ]
lol, you'd have to run at tortoise-speed
Sounds like a very good idea right now... well, maybe not *right* now, perhaps for breakfast...
Hello
TeaKay Posted Apr 23, 2005
Pah :-p
Lol, does that mean you wouldn't want to catch me?
Mmmmm... got some chocolate-based concoctions downstairs.... mum cooks up a feast for parties, and there are always leftovers. Unfortunately the Mississippi Mud Pie seems to go quite quickly...

Hello
TeaKay Posted Apr 24, 2005

Boggle's good, too.

Fair enough...
Boggle's good. A bit diffucult to play online We could always attempt Scrabble <erm
I'd offer, but erm...
Hell, who even needs someone to go with? It's Hitchhiker's! I'm roping anyone I can into going, in hope fo spreading the good word
Hello
TeaKay Posted Apr 29, 2005
There's probably an online version somewhere... Scrabble's good, too.
I don't have anyone to 'rope in'

I looked for Scrabble... but couldn't find it. I think in order to play, we'd have to buy official PC versions of it. Bugger.
At an improbability factor of 2^744524 : 1 against. Well, they do say that it's all governed by phone numbers...

Hello

An old version would be. We'd just need to find a version that's internet-capable. And preferably the same version, otherwise you just know there'll be difficulties... The 2005 version is 9.99 at play. The 2003 edition is 7.99. Probably find a cheaper, older version in one of those book shops I'm always talking about.
Dude, I am *such* a geekboy.

..you say that like it's a bad thing...!
Besides, it could be geekier. It could be chess.
Not that you'd agree, since I might actually have a hope in hell of beating you at that
Hello
TeaKay Posted May 7, 2005
Say what like it's a bad thing?
I was talking about the improbability factor comment... But yeah, you'd probably beat me at chess. I'm crap at it, for the same reason I'm crap at monopoly.
But draughts... we can do that on messenger.

Say that you're a geekboy like it's a bad thing... Hell, you scored higher than me on that test...!
I'm fairly crap at Monopoly. It tends to either get boring or violent in my experience
...Aye, but you don't like draughts much. For the same reasons you don't like chess
Hello
TeaKay Posted May 11, 2005
A very dubious test....
Lol, remind me never to play with you...
I found out recently I'm better at it than I thought
