Thankyou Orange.
Posted Jul 9, 2003
Having changed my phone from O2 to Orange I have had nothing but joy, except when I dropped my phone on Monday night and broke the screen. Not bad since I only got it on Friday.
On Sunday, after getting all the settings/sounds/contacts right I uploaded my data to a backup server on Orange somewhere. So today, when my new phone turned up, I downloaded all my settings again and it's like I didn't bounce the original off concrete.
(It's an SPV for all those s out there )
Liam.

Felling a little left out.
Posted Jun 30, 2003
Well, that's the little left out felt, now for the big ones.
I spent last week trying to convince my family that I don't need to be at my sister's baptism. I was obviously very unconvincing as I was forced to attend on Sunday but not before I sorted out catering for 70+ people on Saturday.
So if any of you could be kind enough to leave some gossip, your comiserations and links to photos it would be much appreciated.
Bloody religious weirdos, the minister was a little taken aback when I managed to blaspheme three times in the same sentence. Ever forgiving god my ar*e.

In the inner sanctum of the BBC new media
Posted Jun 12, 2003
I paid a visit to Bush House yesterday and had a little wander round the building. I was within spitting distance of TPTB, but wasn't sure if the house rules applied there.
It's a really nice building that looks it's had no money thrown at it since 1974. The BBCi studio looks quite impressive but it was bright outside so it could have been a trick of the light.

Where have I been?
Posted Jun 10, 2003
I've been to London, not to visit the Queen, but a very, very, busy boy. I even missed my own entry on the front page.
Anyway, this isn't to sau I'll be having any more time to hootoo, just that I have a moment to check messages and report my whereabouts - despite no one asking. Oh, and change my name.
Everything is cool, big things are happening at work.
Myá is growing at an alarming rate. She says "dadad" "mumum" "nanan" and "cat", which is accompianed by "grr". (When I take here to my parents house we go pussa'-ca' huntin' where we run round the house looking for the three cats so Myá can stroke then and then growl at them. She say's "cat grrr" to dogs as well.
Jack is fine, went for a check-up last Thursday and everything is going ok.
Mrs SM is anaemic and has been put on a double dose of iron tablets.
That's about it.
