Hi Kaz! I got your emails... promised Krispy I'd ring him when I got in from work, will probably be on till 1 AM or so your time. Did you want to have a chat tomorrow when I get home? I don't want to keep you up too late!
I'll be back to catch up on other postings a bit later, just wanted to catch Kaz while she was still on!

Okay, I will be home tomorrow between midnight and 12:30 your time and can chat for a bit!
Maybe I'll download a Judge Dredd tune or two and check them out. Fast, loud, and obnoxious usually does it for me.
Vixen, sounds like you had a busy day today! I had a salad for dinner too... I'm still hungry, so I'm baking a sweet potato. I hate eating this close to bedtime, I'm just going to keep getting fatter at this rate.
Anyways I'm pretty tired, too, so I'll be heading off soon. Sleep well tonight and have a great day tomorrow, you guys!

Just so you don't get disappointed PCandy, Pitchshifter is loud, fast and obnoxious. Judge is rude reggie/ska.

OOOOoo loud fast obnoxious muzik? Justa my cuppa . I loikes the house, rave, techno stuff...amongst other fings, can't usually get much louder and faster n' that! Unless of course you are going for the heavy mental metal rock thingz!
Judge Dread - yeh love ska reggae stuff, from slow funkah pot smoking chilled out stuff to frenetic bounce of the walls stuff...its fair to say my taste in music is fickle, depends wot mood I'm in!
All I want in life is a decent download music site, that I can be sure I won't get hammered for to pay in court later on, I think I whined about this on Terri's thread and her P gave me a site - which is okay...but not quite the same as napster, audiogalaxy or limewire.
Took G to the park yesterday, but it were so cold and windy I didn't get anything done. We came home after half an hour and G got on the PS and I got some sketches done. The students were happy with em which is a good thing, hopefully shall do some more today
Cheerio!

'heavy mental metal rock thingz'
just my cup of tea! Nine Inch Nails, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, something you can scream along to. Pitchshifter is heavy but with a great bass line, it would be good to dance to as well, in the same way that Nine Inch Nails and Killing Joke are.

Oooh I LOVE Killing Joke! I get in loud & obnoxious moods sometimes, too. Sometimes I even like my music to be that way.
My musical moods can be pretty fickle as well, sometimes in the amount of time it takes to change CDs. Saturday I took some discs to work with me so I could plug in- no phones, so I can pass the time more quickly whil eenjoying some tunes. The co-worker who sits next to me, K., has similar tastes, and was poking in my bag to see what I had. Along with Killing Joke, T.S.O.L., and Big Black, I had Louis Armstrong, Ravi Shankar, and Enigma.
Never got into much house or techno, though. I thoroughly enjoy good punk, ska, reggae, bits of old metal, and some shameless old pop and New Wave/ New Romantic stuff from the '80s. Throw in Classical, Celtic, sitar music, some "new age"-y stuff, old blues, jazz, and swing music... pretty much anything except hip-hop, country, and what they call "R&B" these days. Oh, and most contemporary pop music sucks.
"nuff about all that... I shall download a couple of tunes by Judge Dread and the other one, and see what they're about. Thanks for the recommendations, guys!

*jumps up and down in maniacal excitement and thrashes air guitar off wall, and jumps up and down on it in manic glee*
Ever heard of Brackish by Kittie, I like that... Nine Inch Nails, my hubbie is very into that stuff...I like it too
Rock and goth music now is so much better than it used to be, the stuff that I used to listen to in the eighties sounds so dated and pansyish now...
