Oh, I just remembered - he had a feather stuck in his chest, maybe it was poison-tipped, I dunno. People were laughing as he started retching and palpitating, thinking it was part of the act smiley - huh

Oop - Now I remember something else... Halle Berry was in the wings, laughing and applauding, then suddenly realising it wasn't an act.

Now I know what it means. Don't bother seeing Gothika, it's shit! smiley - laugh The mind is a great alarm system. smiley - winkeye I'll be quiet now.

abbi normal "Putting on the Ritz" with Dr Frankenstein

*sigh* R Downey Jr.
I wonder how he is doing.
I hope well.

Hmm he probably could have died on stage in the past with the situations he was involved with.

I do not think I have ever dreamed about celebrities either.
I'll have to think about that.
I bet Ellen has!smiley - ok

Maybe I'm just jealous, though... I haven't had a proper dream in years, don't sleep soundly deeply enough to. I'd probably gladly dream of Robert Downey Jr at this point.

How's everyone doing today? I'm feeling much, much better! Going to do lots of resting and very little of anything else. smiley - biggrin

We tried a new Italian for lunch, bought some cheap cds and then saw a play where the actors had bad BO. Then I came home, did the gender test and am apparently male!! In fact they were 80% sure I was male!smiley - laugh

I've never taken one of those gender tests. I wonder just how female I'd be.

Well, I was supposed to ring Terri today, so I curled up with a book to kill a little time, and allow her to have a chat with some people, and of course I fell asleep again. smiley - doh

Finding chaep CDs is always fun, what kind of stuff did you get?

I don't think I'd enjoy a play where the actors had bad BO. I can't stand any kind of BO, I'm overly sensitive to strong smells and really bad ones make me want to throw up. Not to mention it's just yucky, being so grimy and dirty! But enough about the aroma, how was the performance?

Sounds like you've had a lovely day, Kaz! smiley - magic

The play was the same old frankinstein/oedopal/rage always comes back to bite you in the arse story. Enthusiatically acted, but too intimate and damp for me!

CDs were 'Judge dread', Moonglum doesn't approve of him at all, but I find him very funny! A group called 'Mumadji' they are spanish, never heard of them, but sometimes at £3.99 you have to take a chance! A best of 'Desmond Dekker', about time I had The Israelites. A best of 'Ace of Base', Moonglum choose 'Pitchshifter' and 'Rollins Band' and a 'Cracker' dvd.

We shall see!!

Last time I was in there I got some classical stuff, more Judge Dread, Jethro Tull and a best of Funk and Disco. The manager said he admired my eclectric taste!!

It was a nice day, the food was great, I had Tortufo ice-cream, which was hand-made yummmmmmmm and loads of pasta!

Over so fast though, do you get anytime off for easter? Moonglum gets off Good Friday and Easter Monday, we are looking forward to our 4 day weekend!smiley - magicsmiley - hug

No extra time off for the holiday for me. Good Friday isn't a federal holiday here, so it's up to individual companies what they do. There's no chance we'll get an extra day off during the peak of the busy season, that's for sure. But I'm glad you and Moonglum will have a four-day weekend to spend together, that sounds fantastic!

I've heard of Judge Dredd, but have never heard the music. I am familiar with Ace of Base and Desmond Dekker. The Rollins Band is a little more my speed, and I'd probably like the Cracker one, I always liked Camper van Beethoven. Eclectic musical tastes are definitely something to be admired! smiley - biggrin I like lots of classical stuff too. I haven't gotten a new CD in quite a while now, perhaps I'll pay a visit to Deadwax (nifty little record shop between work and home) and see if they've got anything I "need".

What's tortufo ice cream like? I like Italian food, especially pasta primavera. I can't always have the desserts, though, so many of them have nuts or nut extracts in them. smiley - wah

The Cracker dvd is the programme Cracker with Robbie Coltrane. Well, I am playing the spanish group its dreadful Cleo Laine style jazz.smiley - erm

Tortufo ice cream is choc truffle, its quite strong choc and I'm afraid its sometimes with nuts. In France and Brussels, ordinary ice-cream vans have tortufo flavour, its great. Usually over here the desert is always the same a perfect round ball from some wholesaler, so it was great to have something a little more original.

Its a shame you don't get easter, I guess you have things like thanksgiving instead though.

Don't feel to bad for me, we gets lots of holidays over here that other folks don't- Memorial Day (end of May), Labor Day, Fourth of July... when I used to work in a library, any day we didn't receive mail delivery was a paid holiday, so I was off for all kinds of days. But hey, come summer I'll have a three-day weekend every week for nearly two months. Can't complain too much.

Oh, it didn't occur to me that the Cracker you meant was the one with Robbie Coltrane! smiley - blush I've never seen it, it's on in the wee hours of the night here. BBC America runs all the crap shows like "What Not to Wear" and "Ground Force" all day long, and puts the good stuff on when most people are asleep. Go figure!

Sorry the Spanish CD didn't turn out so well. Maybe you could flog it, or trade it in for something else?

The ice cream still sounds good. I used to adore chocolate truffles. I can occasionally get a fab dessert around here, though, this one place I like (but haven't been to in ages) has the most decadent Tiramisu I've ever tasted. And one of the neighborhood Thai joints has a killer mango sorbet thingy. smiley - drool
